Were you able to straighten your steering wheel? I just got an after market tie rod and steering link, and I need to do the same. I’m not sure if I can if it will only go on one way though?
This video is for 02 2500 ram as well. Video helped. Did have to peck steering wheel pretty hard to get off for 3 minutes. Shouldn't be so hard next time, I greased it for next time if needs takin off.

Those 2 bolts for the air bag on my 01 they are a 8mm
FYI, the size of socket needed to remove the airbag IS 8MM not 10 MM

So i replaced the clock spring but when I pulled the steering wheel my steering wheel column squeaks with and bump or movement. Any suggestions where I need to tighten?

Cool question. I would think the Dodge Ram 1500 steering wheel is a little bigger in diameter. But I would think Dodge would use an identical steering shaft. Let us know your results.

I recently had a theft of my truck and they destroyed the steering column it was fixed but the cruise control is not working the button is not coming on engaging. Any suggestions thanks again Todd

You have to pull with one hand and use the bottom of your hand and be the other side of the steering wheel and go around with your hand beat the bottom and pull from the top
can i put a after market nrg racing steering wheel in n do a airbag delete? if so got any advice on that what I'll need if it's possible.

yeah all you need is a boss hub that fits your car. although it is illegal to remove an airbag from a vehicle that was equipped with one but thankfully most people don't know that, not even the cops. some cops probably wouldn't even know it's an aftermarket wheel since driving without an airbag in it self is not illegal. it's weird, basically all l am saying is keep your old wheel around because you'll have to put it back on if you get a state inspection on your vehicle for smog or registration or whatever.
"For a reason"? Well yeah, but _everything_ happens for a reason... even accidental things that cause others are reasons. But not everything happens for a _purpose._ Maybe we'd be taking off our wheel for a _purpose._
You need a puller to get that wheel off.
StreetTruckinTitan No. you really don't. Just tap the sides of the steering wheel with the palm of your hands. tap and pull. comes off in 2 to 3 minutes.
I wish it was that easy. i tried to remove one from a salvage yard truck after seeing your vid and left without the wheel. Def needed the puller.
StreetTruckinTitan i swear i just removed one last week. all i had to do was use my fist and banged against the steering wheel on the top, side, bottom, pulled, repeated the beats, and I swear it came out.
