Hello there! I just made a droid and I didn’t know that they had shoulder parts that did this. Would you be able to share the file locations and what hardware is required?
maybe one day there will be a version that doesnt need the head to be removed. im personally working on a system to lock the dome on so it doesnt fall off
The dome magnetic mount system is one of my own design that fits Mr. Baddeley printed domes (well at least the R2, R5 and BT-1 domes). The electronics are connected through a MagTag by Ian Martin.

ok- lets talk about that magnet that you did for your connection of the dome at the end... very interested in that!
That is called a MagTag. It is made by Ian Martin and is available on AtroMech.net. Search for the user named Tea

Are the locks only required in the top position? Or are you just using a single lock in each leg for demonstration purposes? Thank you in advance.

Use magnets like we all do. Zero issues.

Yes . There are versions for Version 2 and Mark III from Mr. Baddeley.
