    Musk said the reason he originally backe out of the deal was because the platform is flooded with bots. that's a good possibility on why ads are getting clicks, but no conversion

    • @patrickgw
      @patrickgw  Год назад

      That could well be the reason!

    Thank you for this, I'll have to try it myself. Here's a funny thing... I've subbed to you on RUclips for a while now, and believe it or not, I actually saw your advert on Twitter! This surprised me, because I've never followed or even liked *any* Twitter accounts that are even *remotely* connected with book publishing. Clearly there must be some data sharing going on between the advertising systems of Google and Twitter. Otherwise it's an incredible coincidence.

      Oh really! How strange. You saw the advert for our publishing company or one of my posts on Twitter about the RUclips channel? That would be an incredible coincidence otherwise

    Hey there Patrick great video! I'm a Google ads expert decided to give Twitter ads a spin since I heard they were launching search ads about a week ago. So far I've had 28 clicks no conversions at the cost of about 2 dollars. I'm going to let this campaign run abit more but I suspect I might see results similar to yours. If only they could target people who have an intent to buy this would be a gold mine.

      Thanks! Really glad you enjoyed it an got value. Definitely let me know how you get on. Like you say - could be a potential gold mine if it can be unlocked

    Hi Patrick. Really nice video, thanks for adding value to the community. 2k clicks and zero opt ins, ive only had such experience with bot traffic (non twitter) and push traffic.
    Whats your analysis?
    Accidental clicks? But so many? Doesnt seem.
    Big gap between expectation from the ads and what the lander actually offered maybe?
    Maybe state of mind of people while on twitter is very not in tune with taking any type of action (like optin in)?
    Jusr blows my mind what the reason could be. But im sure there is some explanation that makes sense as your results are super extreme.

      One of the issues might be that we offered self-publishing services at the end of the funnel. The people who clicked might just be writing enthusiasts or big on reading.
      Going to do some more tests to explore this further

    How much did you spend on the conversion campaigns in this example?

    • @patrickgw
      @patrickgw  Год назад

      About $100 on each campaign. In hindsight may have needed to spend more to really test it

    no mention of the targetting options at all. how far down and how accurate is location targeting, can you target by interest?

    Hi - I manage a twitter account of a celebrity. We are ready to paid promotion to increase followers. But we don't want the target users to see "promoted" labels on the tweets. is there any option or alternative to hide "promoted"labels. please guide.

      Hey! There isn't on Twitter as such but there might be some alternative strategies you could take. Drop me a line on Twitter @patgw or email me using the email on my website patgw.com and I can happily discuss some options with you

    I've spent over $700 on a single conversion campaign and only got 1 conversion. TikTok is by far the best platform but they've gotten strict with their regulations.
