Looks great. Love that there is a good breakfast option back at the park. Years ago Aunt Granny's served a breakfast buffet and then Miss Lillan's. They stopped the breakfast buffets about 10 years ago. We always loved being able to get a good breakfast at the park, it was convenient.
When I saw the menu and saw the Mountain Man breakfast skillet, I said to myself, John’s gonna get that! Lo and behold he did! That’s what I would order too !!! The biscuit and gravy looked great too! Thanks for another great video!
A frittata is similar to a souffle or quiche. I used to make all three back in the late 1970s in an upscale restaurant in New Hope Pennsylvania. Some even compare a frittata to omelette. I used to make a great Smoky ham and bacon and swiss and asparagus tip quiche with a flaky crust that everybody loved. Fun video thanks. ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻👍🏻

Both breakfasts looked good. We go to Dollywood all the time since we only live an hour away. We always end up going in the afternoon so we miss the front porch breakfast thanks for sharing ❤
Our breakfast was pretty good, the morning we say y'all.We both got pancakes. They were the thickest, fluffiest pancakes either of us has ever had. Gotta agree with you. It's good to have a breakfast option rather than sweet pastries. Good seeing you guys again today. Keep up the good work, and thanks for keeping us informed!
I think what was served had a sophistication you would not receive in other restaurants in the area. I love that Dolly brings class to her park! The food looked like it was top quality and well prepared. The setting looked lovely (the gleam on those tables - super clean), and the location was ideal. Not to mention the portion size - wow! At least, from the camera angle the portions looked huge. I'd have to order from the kids menu 😂! With all that said, I think the price was quite reasonable.❤❤😊😊 Thanks for another great journey!

Bobbie love the cathead biscuit saw the butter throughout with sausage gravy! Ginormous biscuit!!! YUM Looked so good. Reminds me of my dad's sausage gravy! The mountain man breakfast skillet looks fantastic John! Love the frigate, bacon, and the sausage links are bigger love that! The hash on the bottom looks fantastic. I thi k that would be my skillet. Especially when you're going to be walking awhile around Dollywood. Like the pancake breakfasts also. Biscuit sandwiches. The fried onions are a nice touch. Oh the price at Front Porch was great!!!! Sorry it's raining that day for you. Lucky uou can get a rain poncho in case it pours!!!!

I remember years ago the parked seemed to open earlier and they had breakfast at Aunt Granny's. I think they use to let people in a little early to go in and eat. That was probably 30 years ago or so back when we went a lot growing up.
Other people commented that they thought there was a breakfast buffet years ago. This is the first time for the front porch to have breakfast. We appreciate you watching and commenting. 😎😎

Thanks for all y’all’s videos. We are enjoying the Flower and fairy fest through RUclips this year. We had wanted to go but I may be laid off next month so we won’t be going this year. We will be there in June though, because I had already planned and paid for a vacation for my daughters birthday. So we have that to look forward to!

I herd about this in another channel's video. I appreciate you guys reviewing it. Is the breakfast only available during the flower and food festival or is it available everyday the park is open? Thats the biggest biscuit ive ever seen. Everything looked delicious. I wounder if they will serve breakfast during the Christmas festival since the park doesn't open until 11am on opening day and the first Saturday.
You can get breakfast from the time the park opens until 11 o'clock . Then they change over to lunch. Right now, they are serving breakfast every day that the park is open. I am not sure about the rest of the year. We appreciate you watching and commenting. 😎😎
I’m not a meat eater but the best meal was the egg and meat one. I’m an onion lover. Not a big fan of gravy, cream, or toppings on food. When I eat grits at Cracker Barrel I eat them plain so Bobbie’s meal looks good but . . . Hope I’ll get down south to the mountains. I’m more of a Lake and mountain person. I’d be happy to just make it down to mid to lower WV by end of year with my Boston Terriers
Food looks good,but seems more for a season pass person,if your there for just a day with the price it cost to get in,don’t have time to eat breakfast if you want to get a good start in the park with the crowds

Coming from UK biscuits seems a strange concept for breakfast. I tried one in US last year and that was the last time! In England its closest thing is a scone. However, these are not made with (buttermilk?) butter and contain currants or sultanas. They are usually eaten with jam and sometimes clotted cream. You can also make a savoury version with cheese. Biscuits is also a word used to describe hard baked items like cookies. And the sausage gravy concept for breakfast also feels strange. We normally only associate it with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. It’s funny how you grow up with these preconceptions and different habits feel strange. The food looked good, but carefully portion controlled. Still, it’s better that way than to waste food. You always pay more in a theme park where you’re a captive customer.

I’d love to site or eat on the front porch but not inside. The over use of ceiling lights are so cold & unwelcoming, I’ve never liked harsh ceiling lights. Nothing warm or pleasant about these rooms. I hate crafty clutter but these rooms need life - not counting customers. 😢

Coming from UK biscuits seems a strange concept for breakfast. I tried one in US last year and that was the last time! In England its closest thing is a scone. However, these are not made with (buttermilk?) butter and contain currants or sultanas. They are usually eaten with jam and sometimes clotted cream. You can also make a savoury version with cheese. Biscuits is also a word used to describe hard baked items like cookies. And the sausage gravy concept for breakfast also feels strange. We normally only associate it with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. It’s funny how you grow up with these preconceptions and different habits feel strange. The food looked good, but carefully portion controlled. Still, it’s better that way than to waste food. You always pay more in a theme park where you’re a captive customer.
Thanks for all that info. It's funny how different places in the world food is so different. Theme parks always do charge more just like going to a baseball game and those prices are insane on food water might cost you 7 to 10 dollars. Thanks for comment. 😎😎

The over use of ceiling lights are so cold & unwelcoming, I’ve never liked harsh ceiling lights.
Nothing warm or pleasant about these rooms. I hate crafty clutter but these rooms need life - not counting customers. 😢
