    Nice video I have a frontier with the QR as well but it’s different I wish more people would build the same engine in the truck

      Absolutely brother! It’s a very common motor, yet due to some deck height design choices as well as cast not forged internals, this motor doesn’t get a lot of love. For people shelling out the big dollars for power they aren’t wasting their time on the poor man’s automotive motor - which is a shame, since there is a potentially large untapped market for a complete performance package on this model engine. Despite having a very short stroke I think one of these motors can give you a lot of peppy energy in the miles it churns out.

    HEADS UP! everything you see here will likely be reverse of what you will see in the engine bay because he has it out

      That's a really good point! I'm hoping this video will show the process of putting it back together, the right way. I think taking it apart process is self explanatory, for the initiated like you that is. I might do future videos about how to remove the Nissan QR series motor - if that's something you'd be interested in?

      @@kharyanwar I don't have recommendations since I do my own. My only advice is to pick two from: quick, fast, & cheap... You won't get all three together ever.

    Hi. Could you please tell me the head bolt torque specs details of nissan tiida latio 2005. I am going to change new head gasket. 1.5 petrol at engine?

      Hi Mohamed, have you tried to google it? The factory service manual for a 2005 shouldn’t be difficult to find. Try goggling 2005 nissan tiida latio factory service manual or visit workshopservicemanual.com. Hope this helps!

    I can't go into third gear is it time for a new transmission?

    • @texastoolbox6512
      @texastoolbox6512  2 года назад +1

      Hey, Jayvon! Thanks for the comment, please be sure to subscribe! It depends on your trim level. This model year (MY) came with a 6 speed manual w/ overdrive, or an Xtronic 2 speed CVT w/ overdrive. If you are missing a gear a would not automatically assume the transmission needs to be replaced. Transmissions are complex equipment with components that need to work together for smooth reliable function. I’d recommend identifying your transmission type by the factory code and doing some research on the problem! Hope this helps!
