I had the same issue with engine lid rust on my 61 you might have trouble finding one rust free as most of them are the same best to drill out spot welds and take your time and fix it
front window removal is as simple as one person sits in the car pushing with their legs and another person runs a hook/bent screwdriver under the seal it will pop out and the seal can be reused, got shown how to do it by a professional windscreen guy when i painted my baja
The seal on the back lid needs to be tight and complete, or it will not cool correctly. It relies on that seal or the air draft is compromised. Don't let these idle for very long, also creating overheating. The flat windshield and the T handle on the back lid suggest it's a 64 or older. the 65s will have a slightly bowed windscreen.
Great work guys 👍🏻 I noticed the fuel line from the tank wasn’t attached to the original metal line poking out the tunnel ,has it been by-passed and where does it currently run through the car? Keep the videos coming .😀
