Hello, very good video, thank you very much for sharing, what sensations did the MINT give you? I am very interested in the MINT and your experience would be very helpful to me! From already thank you very much ! greetings

Hi thanks for the comment, the Mint is a nice wing, this size should be loaded a few kilos more to have optimal efficiency, but its weight is not good for the h&f because it weighs 4.5 kg. But I wanted to try it anyway to understand the performance and management level of the two modern lines with my load, casually compared to the Omega uls 22 albeit with different loads. All in all, compared to my Sigma 11 I expected a more significant difference in performance. That is, it requires greater effort for little more performance. However, these are personal considerations, my feelings, nothing scientific.

I would wait if you see a good SIV front stall of the Skywalk Mint. There's a video online that show quite a very agressive shoot after front collapse.

ULS of course faster but when shit happens the Mint save your ass, second the fabric of ULS last 10x shorter, especially this new super fabric on Mint is awesome.

in fact I explain it in the caption, I don't know if you've read it. However, of course it lasts longer, it also weighs 1.5 kg more, as well as being one category less but with good performance and a different type of sail, not very suitable for hiking, 4.45 kg in size 85. My goal is finding a sail like the one I have, i.e. the sigma 11, which in my size 75 kg weighs 4 kg, therefore a good compromise between all aspects, performance, weight, durability of the material, safety! Since I'm light, I don't have to stay on tall surfaces so the weight is still low! While waiting for the Sigma 12, we'll see! Hello and thanks for the comment!

Hi, this is not a proper comparison. The Omega must be faster for sure because of her genes, but not this much. The Mint's Pilot should have taken 7-8 kg ballast with him/her to have a real result.

      Hi, thanks for the comment.
Obviously they are two wings not only of different categories but also of different types. The uls is a light h&f wing, the Mint is a heavy cross wing, but my comparison is not between these two wings but between the Sigma 11 22 m2 4.2 kg, and the Mint 85 kg 4.5. Similar performance requires greater effort.

Hi, thanks for your observation. Of course you are right, I am making my own considerations regarding my load, comparing the potential of the wings on the market loaded with my load, to have a better idea on which size and model to choose given that I am a light pilot and being able to stay on small sizes, therefore lighter than the larger sizes, although they are wings made not only for h&f and also have a longer lifespan.

in a nutshell I'm looking for the best setting between piloting performance and weight of the equipment with my weight load on the ground and in flight

@@Brtnt Consider also Sky Merlin twoliner. Probably light. Sky and Drift paragliders merged this year.
