some speedo's from 1977 onwards have the electronic cable to the gearbox. In the gearbox there can be magnets that sit on a ring and sometimes a magnet can come out from the ring and fall down inside the gearbox into the oil.Often when draining the oil from the gearbox the magnets can come out....This is so overlooked when trying to fix a speedo issue.
