Thanks dude! This helped me alot. I was playing tomb raider with my new mouse and i noticed lag. At first i thought that it was fps drop, which shouldn't have been there and after close inspection i came to know that it was the mouse all along.
I'd be careful, better to look up the mouse online and see what software supports then download a random file that someone emailed to you. If you can't find it then I'd suggest you scan this file with a website like VirusTotal before running it.

just for a fact that this provides a con: whenever like in a shooting game someone is shooting you from behind youre unable to flick your mouse quickly as it will "stutter" as well
2:00 quite the opposite, in fact, turn your mouse dpi to the max and use that slider to adjust the sensitivity. DPI is your mouse tracking quality. Turning down the DPI is the same as downscaling an image to make it larger

Unfortunately this is not a real solution. On other Game Pass games, this method does not work. The problem comes is UWP and Microsoft does not want to hear anything to fix this problem.

Didn’t work for me. I’m at a loss. Playing RE 2 remake and it just stutters and lags, if I use a controller, no issues at all. I plug it into my laptop, play the same game and have no issues.
Polling rate is how many signals per second are sent towards the pc every second and by lowering it you basically make youre mouse worse and if its stuttering that means that youre pc cant handle that many signals per second you just need to upgrade.
If it's stuttering it also can mean that the game or software cannot handle the polling rate of the mouse. Many games have this issue, especially older ones, in this case it has absolutely nothing to do with what PC you have

for me when I play certain games the mouse freezes when I look around, it freezes and prevents me from moving/looking around for 0.5 seconds. Happens alot in GTA 5. Its not my pc specs, because it never happens in Red Dead Redemption 2 which is more demanding than gta 5.
In all honesty man, probably not for at least 3 weeks. I might do a few console games if I have time but I mainly play PC and am in the process of saving up for a better CPU so that I can stream without lag. I'd say towards the middle of June, expect some regular stuff.

i experienced mouse lagging when i limiting the frame rate example: 144hz to 36fps or 48fps or 120hz to 40 fps etc. the game running smoothly but the mousing is stuttering highly. Some games stuttering glogbally when limiting frame rates. AMD GPU is really bad with it sadly... With nvidia i nver experienced these problems!

That worked for me! Was having issues with Stadia on a laptop and mouse. Had to change the setting to 125 and that did the trick. Thank you!
