Yeah right? He plays well his cards in a sort of "The feeling of magic vs Actual magic". Since elements, Mora and other things such as ley lines or the Irminsul have a systematic nature that gives a sense of control, he has to create a situation where whatever happens has to look imposible to achieve, like it doesn't make sense or goes against the nature of the world, despite it being magical. It is magnificent if you think of it, and also explains why people can still be impressed even if the trick is old and more or less cheap (like the hat thing).

Slight thought,
I personally find it interesting that he's mirroring Focalors, sitting up on a high place, right leg crossed over the left, arms in a slight casual position with the left over the legs and the right at their cheek, and looking directly at the camera.
But while Focalors seemed to be slightly looking down, Lyney is looking straight on.
Given some of the ideas about what Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet's role is in Fontaine,
I just think it's an interesting detail.

The animation is so good! Like at 0:25 to 0:35 you can see Lyney's eyes dilating whenever he blinks. I just love that detail!!

I truly love seeing Lyney and Lynnette, their omnious appearance and mysterious behaviour give the air thickness. Lyney's slow and calm voice gives you goosebumps, the atmosphere is intense whenever he walks into the room. It's so refreshing, characters so cold have such a soothing aura

I love using blade, he is my first LV80 in star rail fun fact. Not to mention Daman doing that voice especially when blade gets angry he is deadass angry and crazy. The shot of Lyneys hand making the moon fade away makes me curious. It's clear that lyney and lynette will play a huge part in the story but maybe this is foreshadowing that they might reveal some more abt the "fake sky" that scaramouche talked about. Regardless im super excited ❤
