I’m really enjoying your content from Australia. I only recently found your channel through watching Chris from In The Woodyard. Simple explanations, no carry on, just good quality content. Thank you !!
Thanks, and thanks for watching!
some ppl say these new saws are hard to work on but its not so hard for you lol...great video !!...thumbs up
Thanks for watching!
Nice fix. I hear the 585 is a monster may need to try one out sometime.
Scott saw the video of the guy that has the RUclips channel "the wood yard" coming to your shop for a visit...So cool to see your work digs... real nice place...I live on and manage the property of a small farm, chainsaws are a necessity and we can't afford new ones, so thru your videos I've been able to keep some pretty old saws running sharing your knowledge is a very noble thing my friend...Thank you. Also the rat turd...it needs to be in a museum for both American can do and folk art. Peace brother, Tom
Thanks for the knid words Tom and thanks for watching!
Knid
@@jonathanfierberg3807 I guess I meant to type kind but it came out knid. I made a mistake and I'm ok with that.
Another quality repair! Scott keep up the exemplary work bro
Thanks for tuning in!
Good resolve, Scott.
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Nice to work on something so clean. I wonder what’s up with the new design for the intake.
Its new and improved!
You made it look easy.
Its not a terrible job.
Thanks for sharing!
I have a 572xp it became slightly hard to start and then tried to start it to run it since it’s been sitting and it fired once and nothing after that flooding soaking the muffle in gas. Perfect spark, new plug, new gas etc does same thing everytime you let it unflood and try to start again. Assuming I need a new carb then?
I won't say you need a new carb but I would certainly look into the old one.
I wish I could have all your oem carbs that get thrown out 😂 I understand why you do though 👍
Lol, I've thrown a lot out but I save some for parts. I'm starting a third 5 gallon bucket of them.
@@TheGreasyShopRag haha that’s a gold mine !!
What does that wiring go to on the carb? I had thought the 585 were non autotune saws?
Husqvarna offers a service called Fleet Services. A module connects to that wiring. Learn more here: www.husqvarna.com/us/services/fleet-services/
@@TheGreasyShopRag Oh ok, had no idea. Thanks for clearing that up.
I Find The 5 Series Saws Easy Too Work on Since I’ve Done a Few 😀😊 Nice Job Brother 😀
Agreed. It seems if you need to remove a common wear item you don't have to take half the machine apart to do it.
That had to be a little disappointing to the homeowner spend over $1000 and you get a saw that doesn’t even work! Shit happens
@@richardf9137 This gentleman has been around equipment long enough to understand. He has since expressed just how much he likes the saw...now that he can start it 🙂
This ain't your father's 288xp.
