Love the wrap. Oddly specific question: I notice there's an unsharpened part at the bottom. Does it come with 24" of sharpened blade or is that the overall length including the unasharpened part?
Dremmel it down till it’s almost smooth and then take 550 paracord and pull out the center strings. I used probably close to 20 ft. And tuck the first wrap on top of itself. Use a little super glue to hold it in place every say 5 wraps. You can look up tsuka maki techniques if you like getting fancy. Finish it the way the finish traditional tsuka maki.
Mine came with a terrible edge. That’s a great idea wrapping the handle! I love mine! So much fun for 35 bucks.

I believe the last 2 inches is Unsharpened and it is added to the length total.
Got the idea to cut down the tsuba on my wakizashi machete from your video... much more comfortable
Steve Nye awesome! I love the wakizashi after mods. Enjoy your badass machete!😉👍🏻
Do you think you’ll ever have a tutorial on how you did the handle? I have a Cold Steel Wakizashi and I also dislike the handle
