    New sub here! Love your videos. I think im just a couple days too late to pick a team. It was crazy when i saw your tea setup because its identical to mine that I've used for years. Lol. Same water bin but mine has a pillow case tea bag and a powerful air pump bubbling under it. Do you feed your tea a sugar source? I use either dark brown sugar or black molasses.
    Plants really seem to like it. I also like that it warms the water up while it bubbles. My well water is ice cold and i hate putting it on my plants at that temperature.

      @docrodebaugh  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the sub. I occasionally use a little sucrose in my tea. About a 0.1 - 0.25 cups per 100gal. Glad to hear that we have similar setups and are getting similar results. That means we are doing something right.

      Yes, her stem length was a shorty.

    • @docrodebaugh
      @docrodebaugh  Год назад +1

      Thank you. I will keep the stumps and main vines of my two large plants unburied this season. The others I will bury as I have before.

    What type of fabric/plastic ground cover is that? Can you provide a link? Great videos as always

    • @docrodebaugh
      @docrodebaugh  Год назад

      Dewitt Reflective White/Black Woven Ground Cover 4FT. I sourced it from eBay. It is great so far and I would recommend it.

      Do you think you could burn holes in the ground cover for tap roots?

    • @docrodebaugh
      @docrodebaugh  Год назад +1

      I know a fella that does exactly that. He uses a hand torch and creates holes as needed. I tried it and didn't like the outcome as much. I felt like I did a quicker and cleaner job with a pair of scissors.

    Doc,
    What's your thoughts
    On sunlit UV
    Affecting your tea project, and possibly killing all your .

    • @docrodebaugh
      @docrodebaugh  Год назад

      So far I have not experienced this. I think the turbidity of the solution helps mitigate UV penetration.
