Our German Shepard - Milli 2010-2023

Man's best friend. They're just not here long enough. I got Milli (pronounced Milly) as a puppy. She was the runt of the litter and had to be bottle fed. She grew into a beautiful dog that had great instincts and was very loyal. She protected the family and followed us everywhere we went, always on the look out. She loved to go for rides in the back of the truck or side by side. She loved going to the creek to cool off her paws during the summer months. Her favorite place to lay was right in front of the door, literally, right in front of the door. In her old age, she expected us to step over her haha. She was a strong dog even up to her death. She waited to till we were all gathered around her for one last ear rub before she went. I guess she had to make sure everyone was ok before she could let go. She was part of the family, keeper of the door, and will hold a place in our hearts forever.

I lost my PTSD K9 3 years ago yesterday and I still miss her. Precious was my female Belgian Malinois and was the most laid back Belgian I'd ever seen. Sorry for your loss all dog's go to heaven.
