This is what I needed. I used ABS plastic instead of metal because I could get it in black. I purchased the same light kit. Thank you so much for putting this how to up. It looks amazing on my 2019 Chevy Silverado and I was able to match the color to my rock lights. Great mod, thanks again!
@@howardbutler883 Hey Howard, the lights are all connected there are two long ones and two short ones. I please the long ones in the grill and short ones on the side.
I appreciate that you did this. I just recently added mine and it turn out great. I didn’t do the back drop due to my weather and we get snow. Thank you it was an easy upgrade
@@GarryOfAllTrades I tried to tag you in a quick video of what mine turned out as but it would not link, I wanted to give some credit to the inspiration.

Great idea, there is one issue that light dots shows reflection due to the painted sheet,i suggest either to go with matt paint or cover the sheet with cloth to avoid this killer reflection
Looks great!!!! I did the same to my 21 Chevy. I think painting them was excellent idea I didn’t think about that. I can see my shiny metal behind it. Be careful with your colors & it strobing. I checked the laws with my police friends they told me no strobing unless yellow w/permit. Absolutely no Red or Blue (police & fire). I live in Ga. I put regular LED lights on my side grill. I have everything running through my own fuse block to my rocker switch panel.
@@GarryOfAllTrades what else are you planning? I’ve done running boards, bed liner, LED turn signal on back. Up next is wheels & then leather up grade. I only have a WT☹️. Wives & budgets got to love them.
I have the 2021 custom also but it's grey but chevy calls it grey blue. I just officially removed all traces of chrome. Also changed the bootie to the color of the truck
Hey GREAT JOB! I recently purchased a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Custom and added a few enhancements. I’m interested in adding that kit also. I confused on how you exactly applied the side lights. If I purchase the light kit could you show me how you applied the side lights if I drove from Atlanta?

Woah that looks really good!!! Most people that do stuff like this do it to the whole grille but I think this looks way cooler! Great job!

I agree 😂 most people do a lot of tedious work to install lights in their whole grill 😂 but your “logo” “lights” 😂 are so much better 😂 ….

Are you concerned that blocking off part of the grill could cause engine overheating?
I was wondering the same thing since the Chevrolet sign has holes to let air in but then again I am not an expert 🤷🏽♂️
No, not one bit..

When you start the truck does it stay on the same color that you want?
Only if you leave the light on when u turn off the vehicle. If u turn the lights before that when u start your vehicle the lights will be off.
