It’s actually “Not as serious as yours I fear” followed by Batman saying “Bane” to which Bane follows up with “Let’s not stand on ceremony here…Mr. Wayne!!!” You just know the way Bane talks in this scene before they start to fight it’s not going to go well for Batman
It’s kinda funny that Nolan’s movies are criticized for having sound mixes that make dialogue difficult to hear, and his actors have actually struggled with this on set
I really like the new Batman movie with Robert Pattinson but it is very dark and sort of mellow dramatic while Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies were much more epic or more of a blockbuster!
I agree, i think with Patterson, they wanted to really embrace the DC (Dark Comics) ideal of Batman. Not that Bale was bad by any means, he’s my favorite Batman honestly, i think Pattersons is more true to comics where as Bale’s was similar to the comics added to the amazing creative mind of Christoper Nolan
@@HighBeaner Colin Farrell is Amazing and unrecognizable as The Penguin in the new Batman and can’t wait for The Batman 2 but it’s not being released til May 2026 that’s gonna be a long wait and the Riddler story was really creepy but done really well!

Christian Bale is an amazing actor. He gets a lot of flack off some, perhaps bitter actors but he’s brilliant. Outstanding in Out of the Furnace. Also that film with Eva Longoria where he plays a Army veteran with what I’m guessing is PTSD
I was on set and Mr Bale was there acting and I will say The ONLY person who could hear him was the sound person He basically whispers his lines So I’m not surprised Where as say Laurence Fishbourne on set projects his voice so well that we allll felt his resonance Both great Both different
I love Christian Bale interviews. He seems like a nice guy but just commited to work. And putting your body through all he does, must take its toll on your patience lol
