14:00 Michael Lewis goes into detail about the scam that many firms were complicit with and suddenly Tina Brown wants to talk about SBF’s social skills.
There is a fine line between repressed feelings tied to autism and to a "blocking" sense of shame that might be induced by guilt. Therefore we really don't know.
The case of SBF is hard to even focus on because of how insanely wrong it is. Basically , one of the few good people in the world that was actually on his way to doing something good, was thrown under an imaginary bus in the most unfortunate circumstances I have ever seen. If people were to see how far from reality their interpretation is, and how it got there, it would probably send them into the fetal position for a week and lead to a mass progression of human perception and self-awareness more than anything else has.
@@studentoflife3140 Lol , I've never spent a dime with him or FTX. I don't blame you , not many people are capable of seeing what actually happened in this situation. Somehow Sam got caught up in the perfect storm of a false narrative. The person who had a front row seat to it all was Michael Lewis but most people don't have what it takes to challenge their own beliefs once they think they know what happened.
@@NickKautz sunk cost does not just apply to financials. It also applies to opportunity cost. In your case the opportunity cost is that you are unable to question your previous opinion on a topic after the facts have been presented. I understand the need to be skeptical. And I applaud you for having a belief contrary to the masses. However there is plenty of evidence that SBF has sociopathic traits which led him to forego his high intellect for the pursuit of power. I can tell you are a smart person. Please reevaluate. God bless.
@@studentoflife3140 My original opinion was that he was guilty, because that's how media presented it, and that's what gained traction with popular opinion. But I know better than to trust those things, so I did my due diligence by investigating with disregard for outside influences and bias. The more I learned about him and his background as well as the details of FTX, the more unbelievable the accusations became. Throughout the entire ordeal, there have been multiple possible interpretations that fit the circumstances, not just the "guilty" one that requires zero effort. Ask me anything about the case, I'll point out the error in interpretation.
This guy got swindled into oblivion by SBF that he still can't cope. He's out here doing media tours of his book trying to spin that he knew the real SBF all along. It's time to stop, he has no credibility left to lose.
Don't forget your take on this. The humility that it will give you in comparison to reality, when it decides to reveal itself, is a rare growing opportunity.

The story of being conned, from the inside, the one being conned
How millions of people , including prosecutors and a jury, were misled due to misinterpretations and media sensationalism.

Wonderful insights beyond the book. Thank you Michael Lewis. But...too much Tina Brown.
Michael Lewis ruined his credibility with this book. Admit that you were duped by scam bankman fraud
You're a fool
@@NickKautz Please look up the sunk cost fallacy and dig yourself out of that illogical hole that you are in. God Bless
