Russia blames Ukraine for deadly blast in Belgorod | Cold lava mudslides kill dozens in Indonesia

▷ Thirteen people have been killed and more than 20 injured in the Russian border town of Belgorod, in what Moscow claims was a Ukrainian attack on a residential area. Describing the assault as 'barbaric', Russian officials allege the damage was caused by a Ukrainian missile shot down by the Russian air defence system.
▷ The United Nations says more than 300,000 people have now fled Rafah, as the IDF pushes deeper into Gaza. World leaders continue to sound the alarm over Israel’s offensive, which over the weekend resumed in northern Gaza.
▷ Monsoon downpours and volcanic terrain have triggered devastating mudslides known as ‘cold lava’ on Indonesia’s island of Sumatra, with the districts of Agam and Tanah Datar particularly hard hit. At least 37 people have been killed and nearly 20 remain missing.
