When I first heard mother/father on video I was in shock at his voice. I even saw them in concert in 2011 but didn't hear him sing. I just heard him sing Faithfully for the first time. Brought tears to my eyes. Arnel is fantastic but Deen is something else. Just amazing.
Check out Deen's drumming work on Ozzy's 1995 album Ozzmosis.. It's nothing short of superb.. Probably one of the only drummers of his generation in this genre that has endured a steady career..
I've been following his work since 87........when he had a sick band called WILD DOGS.........his Shrapnel recording days with McAlpine.......one of the best if not the best in the world
Completely agreed. His work on Maximum Security is awe inspiring. He is one of the few drummers that I have heard are as musical as they are explosive. A rare and unique talent...
I didn't say it was one of his best solos with the time he had but ask Mike Portnoy, Dom Famularo about Deen. One of the best! Has played with Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Paul Rodgers etc.
hej check Joy Tafolla album ''infra-blue '' from1991 on this album Deen show first class!!!! also check rest of cd when he play for shrapnel records(Marty Friedman,Macalipin,Cocophony...)
i dont mean any offense to anyone BUT ,,,,, we have including myself kids that listen and enjoy these videos,,,,,, could we please keep the bad language down just a little ! ! ! ! ! !
Sorry, but Journey just isn't the same for me without Steve. Great musicians all no doubt, but I wish they'd gone on to become someone else and not the band I saw live and followed for years. Just my personal opinion and not a slight to these awesome musicians. Peace...

Not to mention he's also got an amazing voice. Deen is overflowing with talent.
This guy can pound the skins with the best of them. He is also a fantastic singer and everything I have seen him involved in is gold.
Deen you are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!WOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
most amazing drummer I have ever seen
Uno dei migliori gruppi in assoluto da vedere live di tutti i tempi...
One of the best group ever to see live of all the time...
YOU GUYS STILL HAVE IT. LOVING IT !

i love you dean
woooow Deeeeeeeen love
Deen blows Arnel out of the water on vocals. Don't believe me, look at Deen's rendition of Mother, Father, and Still They Ride.
Dean always had his stuff together, check some of his late 80's early 90's work he did with drum clinics.
Reminded me of Terry Bozzio at the beginning
Wow Kyle you may be the next drummer for journey you are that good
OMG. I'll just leave this here. Bonzos!!!
Yes arnel is talented but Deen owns it, hands down!!
00:49 FUCK YEAH!
I didn't say it was one of his best solos with the time he had but ask Mike Portnoy, Dom Famularo about Deen. One of the best! Has played with Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Paul Rodgers etc.
love it Dean. fuck'n luck ads man
awesome job
Ross Vallory gets my vote for most uninteresting bassist in rock and roll.

Deenooooooooooo!!!!!! :)
Nice
Now this guy is the right drummer for Journey. Steve is one of my fave drummer but looks odd playing for Journey. I think he’s just too smooth.
I like Deen

DEEN !!!!!! Arnel, you're ok but . . . . . .just OK. DEEN sings better

He smokes steve smith.
Dean rocks, but SS is in a league of his own. Any real drummer knows this.
