Scratch golfers usually know their min-avg-max yardages very well. 10hcp+ players overestimate their own yardages and get their ego hurt by other peoples yardages.

it’s a superstition at whistling straits that the lake has a “gravitational” pull on golf balls (aka it’s just something nice all the caddies say 🤣)
