Held the lead after day 1 at the Open in his hometown then froze and choked for the following 3 days, shame because he is a serious ball striker, Lee Westwood 2.0 though when it comes to majors. Lost a playoff to the first Canadian winner of the Canadian Open in 70 years this year too 😭 must have hurt

This is the fastest match Cantlay has ever played.
Hovland/Fleetwood were in the lead three times this match and had a good chance to win at an early stage. They messed up/abused too many chances.

@@mikeyt3784Eh, None of these were chosen for Ryder cup because of chemistry. Hovland was pre-qualified while Fleetwood is in form and the first outside the pre-qualified. I said they had good chemistry when they played together so maybe we see them together this Ryder cup. JT was chosen because of previous Ryder cup performance and because of chemistry with Spieth. He is out of form and was picked only by that criteria. You cant see the difference? LOL

It really is amazing how much better the British coverage is than the American commentators. I get that you want to support your side, but the lopsided nature of the commentary by Azinger and co. is revolting. The UK guys tell it like it is, not how they would like it to be.

What a crape highlight package,it took 8 mins to play 1st,then its a putting highlight reel,pathetic,most golfers like to see shots,good or bad,not players taking forever to putt out,obviously the guy doing the highlights isn't a golfer

I find it weirdly orwellian that they just say this was the 2020 Ryder cup even though we all know when it was played and why it was played at that time. Blind capitulation.
