I really love this series idea, not only an opportunity to make folks aware of the history of the hobby but also an opportunity to appreciate what we already have rather than constantly chasing new products. Variations is an excellent nom for legendary status, it never was to my taste but I think it was/is really loved by many. I think Thieaudio Oracle mk1 and Moondrop Kato could be legendary status. Definitely an etymotics ER2 as well. Mega5 imo is definitely legendary but too early to give it the title, I'm expecting 2025 to be loaded with excellently meta tuned iems
I polished of the variations design on the face plate now it has a really nice clean look. They also fit my extra large ears better than most IEM I have tried.
It's a legendary IEM for sure. I consider Chopin as a mini Variation.

The hexa i think now can truly be considered as a legendary iem because of its end of production. No store has stock rn, not even truthear themselves
I think the Pure is incoming. You can probably get them on ebay open box.
