The maryland flag is the easiest to describe it's has 4 sections, the colors are black yellow red and white it has black and yellow checker design in upper left and bottom right and red and white crosses in the upper right and bottom left.

In South Carolina, the state flag is on EVERYTHING. Shirts, hats, coolers, you name it. We even have a popular store chain called Palmetto Moon (referencing the flag). It’s a cute flag and we love our palmetto trees.

The NY state flag is over the place in NYC but the city flag is a rare scene. But the guy can describe the city flag but not the state flag.

Fun fact: In 2001, New Mexico, Texas and Maryland’s flags placed 1st, 2nd and 4th best for design quality out of all Canadian provincial and US state/territorial flags.
New Mexico’s is a clean, elegant, and striking design. Culturally respectful. Unique and instantly recognizable amidst a sea of dark blue flags with crowded state seals, and worst of all, having to put the name of your state on because it looks like all the others.
AZ flag is by far the prettiest. 🌅
I moved to Oregon as a teenager. I watched because I wanted to know more as I can only think of the color being blue and some kind of state seal in yellow. I didn’t know it had a back side to it and that it has a 🦫 on it. Sweet!
