"The International 12 Metre Class is one of the most enduring classes of yachts racing today. Originally created in 1907 the 12 Metre World Championship in 2019 attracted 23 boats to Newport, Rhode Island for a week of racing. The narrative of this film demonstrates why the people who race 12 Metres are so passionate about the yachts. Winning is the goal, and important but the larger reward is participating on one of any these yachts that date back many decades.
