Very interesting. Good video. Both are exceptional cars. I have done over 12,000kms in my GT4RS and its never been too noisy. Just epic.
It is epic, but us car guys think that nothing is too loud lol. My wife would beg to differ LOL
Prediction. He sells the 4RS in next 6 months and gets a 765. Then regrets it 1 year later and pays double for 4RS when electric cayman comes out.
I agree he will definitely trade it in for something. Most likely another Porsche allocation.
GT4 RS won't be worth double a year from now... Yes I'll probably get rid of the 4RS. More than anything because I"ve had it for a year almost and have done everything with it. Doesn't mean I don't love it. Just means I like variety :)
I don't disagree :) or something with a V12
@@MiamiMiles Lamborghini Adventador? Ferrari F12??? Mercedes S600 with an exhaust? 😆
Had a GT4 RS...Traded it in for a 720S track-pack spider. Best car swap I ever made... That 'noise' that you love in the 4RS on the first handful of laps just becomes grating and obnoxious after about 30 minutes, and there is no comparison on power and torque. I still love Porsches and still have a few, but the Mclaren 720S is hands down the best street legal car I have ever driven.
If you want a dedicated track car, just buy a 911 cup..
I can see why you have this perspective and have no argument. Congrats on an epic swap. The 720 is peak.
will an exhaust resolve the mclaren 720 sound issue??
This was a good review BUT for an overall car it's perhaps better to have the 718 Spyder RS than a 720S Coupe
Great video! no bias as a 4rs owner
None. Just saying it how it is.
Another nice video comparison! What are your new alignment specs so you don't oversteer on braking?
I'll get them for you.
Fantastically well balanced video. Thank you.
Happy you enjoyed it my friend.
just tracked 2024 gt4rs and brake didn't even last 4 laps before spongy (need high temp fluid). also at sebring, matt with 765LT also overheated and brake turned to crap. his word is 765lt is awesome on street and pos on track. note he also own mclaren senna and 720s, 750s etc. i think mclaren cant take track abuse and dealer told my friend it overheated because drive too hard lol. porsche needs brake fluid and while sound loud inside, it doesnt sound loud outside
RESPECTFULLY miles, it seems you like the 4rs but you are still not completely sold on the car? I feel like the impressions you give point towards how you like it but it does not suit you well. Maybe its time to let her go and maybe another car and get that 765lt back babyyyy
Comment on point. I'm not married to it like I am to my GT3 RS. Right now the only car that is not negotiable for me is the GT3 RS :) Everything else is expendable. I'm looking to have a garage of non-negotiables.
@@MiamiMiles I recall your wife not liking the 458, so maybe we see that and the 4rs go for the legendary 765lt? When you do get it back we need more videos of the 765!
@@suuwhoop9579 All true.... I'm trying :)
Well since you have a 3rs the 4rs should be negotiable already hahaha… make scenes to do 765lt. Sto would be nice but the same as the 3rs. Not sure what other choice is there sf90? Hahaha
Can you do a track comparison between GT4RS and 997.2 GT3RS? :)
Yea will do when I get a chance.
I'm taking that 4RS all day.
Don't blame you. That's why I own a 4RS over the 720. That being said, I slept on the 720S. Chalked it up as a stunt car only to realize that it is a machine that is extremely capable.
4rs is a racers car and the McLaren is a Miami guys car. To different animals. McLaren not near as reliable if you track a lot. Just my opinion. Depends on how you use the car the most.
McLaren is not as reliable. You are correct. That being said, I can't call it a Miami guy's car anymore. It is just as capable as the GT4 RS on track. It's a cheat code just like the GT4 RS.
Safe GT4RS! On the Nordschleife both Cars make a 7:10 A Porsche is a Porsche 🤷🏻♂️
Facts.
Amazing review!
Thank you my friend.
Reliability - Porsche's are amongst the most reliable cars on the planet. That McLaren will kill ya in the shop.
Probably true haha. Porsche will never break. If you get the wrong McLaren on the other hand, ☠️
Fantastic video Mickey! I am glad you are racing at the track. Now all you need is a helmet my friend.
Will get one my friend haha
Insane video bro. After our last conversation. I sold my GT4RS for a small loss and picked up the STO. The only way I would have kept my 4rs was if I straight-piped it like yours. Instead, I put that money towards the STO. Loved your VF supercharged STO video
Great move my friend. STO over 4RS all day for many reasons including sound, sexiness, gearbox, brakes, power, rawness, ETC. It's the better car which is why its $100K more. Happy you made the right move.
Prediction: Bitcoin moons next year and we see the 765lt return.
I'd like to see your impressions on the 488 pista first tho🙏
Fortunately don't need BTC to moon. Just need 765 prices to settle around sticker :) Just don't want to lose money haha. Will see if I can get my hands on a Pista.
Curious... GT4 RS or 992 GT3?
GT4 RS if you're into rawness. 992 if you like refinement.
Hmmmm Nice comparison 👍👍👍👍👍
GT3?
on track the most important is speed, which one is faster?
bro you gotta get some dundon motorsports mods on the 4rs and make more power, they madea gt3rs do a 10 second quarter mile
My 4RS made about 40-50 wheel more with Soul than Dundon. Same car/same dyno. I ran the Dundon stuff on my car, and took it off.
oh thats awesome man nice!!@@MiamiMiles
GT2RS
The McLaren whistle
Sounds sick. Just not as good as the 4RS
PORSCHE ALL THE WAY
gt2rs
Guauuuu
720s
Great choice.
just get a gt2rs
Huracan shit? From someone who has had mclaren, Ferrari, has a monster built 997 gt2 and manual gt3 with a straight pipe sorry my Huracan evo rwd spyder is way way way more emotional and of an experience / visceral than all of them
It’s not shit from a driving perspective. Its awesome. Im a huge huracan fan and have driven almost every iteration. That was the wrong vocab. Apologies.
What I meant was that I wouldn’t buy an Evo for that money. Id rather have either of the other two. Solely on personal preference. But the Huracan in some respects is the better car.
Awesome gearbox and engine and looks, steering is average, brakes are good. It’s a perfect street Supercar.
I just Wouldn’t use it to tear up a racetrack. Again just a personal preference.
@@MiamiMiles that makes sense I respect that… they are more than capable on the track also but you’re right it just wouldn’t be my first choice or preference I guess
I think they are slept on because I had this notion in my head before road trips my Superleggera, perf wouldn’t tear up the back roads and canyons like other cars however they are so so so competent and a lot of fun
I think if you took a rwd evo around the track or hard in back roads you’d be surprised 🦾 but anyway yea I get it
@@iLLGT2 appreciate your perspective my bro. Will probably end up buying one at some point lol
