That's exactly how my hair works lol. It would dry poofy looking like 4c and if I put gel or a cream it looks like 3c-4a.

My hair is just like urs when I get out the shower it frizz fast and puffs up but with product my hair is really curly and shiny
yep, hair twins for sure lol
this is exactly like my hair also. I think Im 4a(if I have to type it) and thats the beauty of it because it can mimic anything from 3c down to 4c depending on how you manipulate it. My hair will get super defined or I can just let it be frizzy and more of a fro if I do a blow out and it can look like 4b lol

Love it! I have to do a twist out then put my hair in a puff for more defined curls. I do braids in the front (big & small) cause my edges only lay for like 5 mins.

I agree with you 100%, this hair typing is completely ridiculous, the second anyone on YT say their hair is A B or C, they're viciously attacked by the hair nazi's.
that's because most people still can't figure out the difference between a curl pattern vs hair texture...they are just stuck in this simple number/letter system and trying to make up more letters to say their hair is unmanageable and make excuses to go back to relaxing.
But meanwhile that puff gave me life though!!! 😍

My hair is exactly like yours and I never know how to explain my hair type because it's different when it's wet or gelled rather than when it's dry. Also I I have fake baby hairs too😂.

You have the EXACT same hair as me!!! It is a sensitive topic lol it's a mix; it waves at the roots, thick asf in the middle and has a weird curl pattern at the ends. It's refreshing to see 🤗🙂

+OnlyOneJess dude, the same thing happens to me all the time. I thought I was 4c, but when its wet it's a different texture, and when it's gelled it's also a different texture. The curls get loser at the end, so several people argue, like literally argue with me what my hair type is. It's just annoying, like stop pulling and feeling my hair like you're some hair expert. So know my hair type is whatever the individual thinks it is. I'm just done.

Girl yes! Love this look and I have been doing my puff all wrong ok lol my puff be looking thirsty! And if my skin was flawless like yours I would do the same thing. Little to no makeup but I need my foundation. Due to Acne scars. But I'm sorta down to try the natural look too. It's not like I wear makeup 24/7
hahaha yes my puff is almost always finger coiled, but the puffy puff is cute too!! and idk if you ever heard of the youtuber Vicky Logan but if you watch her older videos she had a lot of acne scars and idk what products shes using now (im sure she has a skin care routine video up) but her skin has cleared up soooo much!!

I think we have similar hair types . Im Jamaican and my texture is all over the place ,sometimes it looks curly sometimes crusty . I often do finger coils with eco gel as well which gives me these beautiful curls almost tricking people that my hair is better than it really is 😂😂. But you are gorgeous hunny and your hair is bomb.
