PSYCHOSOCIAL - SLIPKNOT - TRIBUTE TO JOEY JORDISON, by Mauricio Weimar

Joey Jordison passed away yesterday (july 27th, 2021) on his 46 years, causing a huge impact everywhere. I don’t remember people talking and expressing theirs feelings like this before on my social medias.
Joey has never been among my drumming influences directly, but most of my students had him in the highest place. I always had a huge respect for the man, though.
The song “Psychosocial” was one of Slipknot’s songs that got my ears in the first time I listened to it. I remember digging the guitars and vocals so much… and the drumming is just right on this one. So I decided to pay tribute to Joey Jordison with this “note for note try” cover which happens to be my favorite Slipknot song.
Rest in Peace, Joey.
