I really enjoyed this version of Mr. PC. I hope you can keep this exact quartet together in the future. It would be great to have these fantastic four again!!
Band sounding seriously tight!
The bass is seriously gorgeous sounding!
Chad LB has incredible tone, perfect articulation, and his phrasing is on point. To my ear, every note and phrase is considered and meaningful. You can tell he never goes on "autopilot." And this band is completely in the pocket....really fantastic work.
What a solo! Mr. J. C. would be satisfied 🎷
A total chad.
Chad……tone……!!!!!!!!! Outstanding playing by all and great video/sound quality too.
What a tune .... These guys are speaking the language... awesome tune ....one of the very best .... wonderful changes ...
Man, you got the look and the sound i would like to have. Lucky man
Chad, just burning it up! So many tasty, lyrical lines and rhythms in those solos. Fantastic! Really digging these live performance clips on different standards, thanks for posting them.
Enclosures extravaganza! Love it!
This was a fun performance to watch -- MR PC is a beast of a modal tune... nice to hear each member of the band offer something and lay it down tastefully... as a jazz musician I appreciate these studio quality performances!!
Isn’t it a minor blues?
Awesome tune! Is that Khary Shaheed on Drum's? Shout-out to Chad LB for posting this. Makes my senses tingle 🥁🎷🎹🎻!
Legendary.

今風でカッコ良いと思います
I think it's modern and cool
🔥🎷
Serious question, did you play the head as quarter notes instead of eighth notes because it was easier? I just played this with my band a few times this week, and found that on trumpet, trying to properly articulate the pairs of eighth notes properly was surprisingly difficult, and made me fall behind the tempo. The amount of time to play two of the same notes just seemed too short to be able to tongue between them. I also ended up playing mostly quarter notes there too.
Haha me too when my band played it. Honestly I like it better stylistically
thats chad lb, it has nothing to do with difficulty, but style
Yeah this pro definitely changed something to be easier. Definitely not because he finds it stylistic.
Was this at South in Philadelphia?
