This'll never be a shill bro channel, and we thank you for it. Another thoughtful review of an attainable vehicle. Keep up the good work.

I think they did a nice job upgrading the interior on this. To me, that was the only uncompetitive part about this rig. Much better now!

That rear seat room would make road trips a lovely proposition if you’re not the one driving lol

No more VR6 is a bummer, though still a compelling vehicle in its class

Thanks for this review -- it is interesting that it is FWD! I appreciate that VW at least provides that option for those who may benefit from its lower cost and better fuel economy. And that towing capacity is impressive! 👍

The Powertrain is a let down because I like the styling.

The R-line Cross Sport with the VR6 looks so good with lowering springs. Arguably the closest thing we'll get to a Corrado successor haha
The sweet spot with the Atlas is a pre-refresh VR6 (2018-2023). Save yourself a bit of money, gain the smooth naturally aspirated VR6 motor and 4motion. You also get real buttons and knobs. The EA888 motor in the refresh is a good motor, but it's working very hard to pull a chungus SUV. Same motor as the GTI/R so parts and mods should be interchangeable(?) aside from the bespoke Atlas parts (e.g.: the intake). Don't bother with the 400whp build, the 8AT can't handle the torque. The same gearbox crippled the Arteon lol

That was one angry takeoff! I wasn't expecting that out of a VW crossover lol.

1 trim up from the base is usually the way to go anyway

Compared with BMW X6, Audi Q8, Mercedes GLE Coupe, Lamborghini Urus & Other

In what world is a Volkswagen supposed to be competitive with any of those Luxury vehicles?

Uhhh No? lol this is a Volkswagen not an Audi. This competed with RAV4s for shit sake!
