Today I am providing a quick rundown of every character who we have seen use the Super Saiyan God transformation as of May 2023

Yamoshi IS NOT the original Super Saiyan God. Yamoshi is the original Super Saiyan. His wandering spirit is what makes the Super Saiyan God ritual possible but he himself was not the original Super Saiyan God.
Shenron states that the original Super Saiyan God fought evil Saiyans ON Planet Vegeta. In the Toriyama interview where Yamoshi was first mentioned he is stated to have fought and died BEFORE the Saiyans moved to Planet Vegeta.
If you guys are interested I could make a separate short about this since a LOT of people get the original SSG and Yamoshi mixed up.

@@hoohoo431 Same, I've never heard otherwise and this is the first time I've heard about this interview although what I'm reading now I realized I misunderstood yamoshi was the original super Saiyan and a super Saiyan God never existed yamoshi's spirit was searching for the super Saiyan God, not was a wandering super Saiyan God, therefore Goku is the first super Saiyan God if that's correct. Again that's assuming what I just read is correct I've never heard this interview they refer to.

Yeah I've never really understood his pun since giblet is a form of meat. I'm guessing it sounds similar to a Japanese word for some vegetable and it just happens to be the same word for something else in English by coincidence.

Shallot and giblet are such cool characters in my opinion. If i were to try and make them cannon i would try and do something like making them either the original super saiyan god or kids of the super saiyan god.
They are at least direct descendants of the original super saiyan god.
Canonically they probably died in the Saiyan War that caused Sadala to blow up and the more dangerous saiyans to move to Planet Vegeta.

@@Mr.WheeIerNope, they're actually MUCH MUCH older than Freiza to the point Vegeta even recognizes that what Shallot is wearing is an earlier version of what the Planet Sadala Saiyan Armor is. There's 2 types of Saiyan's, the pure hearted kinds just like the U6 Saiyan's or the Typical Saiyan's like Nappa. It was said that the Good kind we're exterminated in a civil war against the "evil Saiyan's".

I just assume it was a combination of shock and him dropping out of his transformation. We see that when he arrives back on Vampa he is in his base form.

Yamoshi
Yamoshi's backstory relates directly to Dragon Ball Super's Battle of Gods Saga. Apparently, Yamoshi, in a sense, is the Super Saiyan God form. It was his essence that created it. He made a brief appearance during the ritual where Goku gathered five Saiyan souls to help him become a Super Saiyan God and take on Beerus.
