Yes,Arne is more understanding and knows how to do! Great man!
As always, Arne makes it look soooo easy 😂 He’s so good…. ❤
So many terms and techniques I’ve yet to learn, love it.
That is truly the fun of knitting!
Thank you. Helpful tutorial, as always. 😊 you guys help me loose the fear.

Beautiful sweater. ❤
Wonderful! It is beautiful & looks so comfortable. Arne! I hope your pain is improving.
It is getting better.
Thank you Lovlies for extended sizes in your beautiful sweater. This will be perfect for my hubby.
Another new technique to learn. Arne and Carlos, you are definitely improving my knitting skills.
I learn something every time I watch your tutorials. Thank you again.
You are welcome Gladys.
I absolutely love all the colors that you created for Rowan. More beautiful colors needed. Keep doing what you both do. I have no idea how Arne knits so fast. I made my husband a sweater and it took me 2 months to make. Thank goodness he loves it. It makes it worth all the effort.
Thank you so much!
Carlos cannot wait to see you in the sweater
Very helpful! Now I need Arne to help me sew together a Marius sweater I plan to.knit for my husband.
Great episode! Thank you all for sharing!

Catch us on Wednesday!
Great tips for sewing the the Comfiest sweater in the world. Almost finished the second sleeve of mine. This Norwegian yarn is so squishy that I can already tell it will be a favourite to wear
Thank you Deborah!
I love the look of that sweater, even if I don’t have the time to knit it yet! When I was growing up, even before I learnt to knit, my Mum taught me to sew her knits together as she hated doing it 😊 We made a good team, Mum knitted all of my jumpers (& a couple of dresses) and I got to sew them all together 😁 Takk for reminding me of that. Be well, Sally 🌹
You are welcome Sally! Thank you for watching.
It is interesting to see how you sew up a sweater. There are so many ways. 🇬🇧
True!
Thankz for another great tutorial. I'm hopeless at sewing up jumpers. Especially cardigans I can never pick up stitches. Maybe you could do that sometime on a tutorial. You have helped me learn so much .a thankful lady sharon Scotland love you guys
Thank you for the tutorial suggestion Sharon.
I love you guys!! ❤️ 😍
Thank you!
Beautiful to see all the sweater colors together! Arne, I hope your arm/wrist is healing. It's hard to rest when someone is as active as you are!
I bought this pattern as soon as it was in your shop, first sweater I've knitted for years and it is so much fun I am loving it !! You made it so easy and it's so soft I can't wait to finish it. Love, love , love, and now I see how easy it will be to finish ! Thank you , have a wonderful week !
We are so glad to hear that!
Exactly what I needed sugarS
I'm working on a brioche sweater, so this video hit the spot. Thank you, as always.
You are welcome Deborah!
Yay! Congratulations! I have to learn myself
Thank you both! As others have said, it looks possible to do, you make it look quite simple. I guess this was recorded, as you've been away on your knitting cruise, but whatever the situation, thanks so much for such regular podcasts for your 'fans'. So interesting always. Love Freja and your gardens, doll house, cooking episodes too!
Red is my favorite color. I think that will be my sweater. Your love of color makes everything you do shine even brighter. I can’t wait to see how fabulous you will both look in your chosen colors. Keep shining Arne and Carlos.
Merci! Have a beautiful day!
Thanks for the tuto, I love the colors you are knitting with !
Thank you very much. I needed this information today. Hopefully all is well with you. Loved the walkthrough of your guest house.
Oooo! I was a bit nervous about brioche knitting. But after seeing the simplicity of the pieces, and the guide for seaming, it looks so much more achievable! I love the mutual encouragement, and the many colors offered!! That electric blue looks fabulous! And the red, just the right shade!!.
Thank you for explaining all of that; it makes it look easy to finish up! Can’t wait to see all the colors!
You are welcome Nancy!

Hi Arne and Carlos, I am the person that always comments on your channel about wanting to learn how knit. well I have been teaching myself and I learn one stitch that I was able to knit some scarfs and they came out beautiful, so as I go along I will be learning other stitches and then finally I will learn color work that is my goal. thank you for all your videos, love them
Hi, we hope you are enjoying your knitting journey!
Thank you
You are welcome!
You’re both “SO GOOD” Thank you for the handy tips. I’m going to practice now. ❤

Thanks, guys! Very informative and a great topic! 🙂
Love this sweater.❤
Beautiful sweaters! Brioche is fun to do. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
I love your “we” Carlos! Ha! “We” is Norwegian for Arne? 😜
Thanks! Very helpful!!
Amazing!!! I love you wool! Knitting the hat let me know how wonderful your wool is! I knitted 4 of them 😂. So glad your trip has been wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching Dorinda!
Fabulous love sweaters! Especially pink! Thank you as always! Xx 💜💕💜
Very cool!! Love this sweater. But I want to sit and knit brioche with you both! 😄
You are sooooo good
Always!
Such a relaxing 😎 episode. The whole time I kept thinking, this is easy like Sunday morning. Arne and Carlos, such a carefree sweater. Love it ♥.
Thank you!
Good morning.
Good morning Blase!
As a relatively new knitter, a sweater seems daunting. However, you both make this look doable. I think it could be a great start. Thank you for the encouragement and the helpful tips! ❤
You should just go for it!
Happy Sunday! I love this video. I have always wanted to try brioche and this was what I needed. So simple and elegant which is just like you both! Sending love from Colorado, Valerie
You are welcome Valerie!
Knitting brioche drives me crazy. When I make a mistake, I don't know how to correct it. Having said that, what a great idea to make this sweater in pieces!
That make it more doable!
A very nice video with very clear instructions from Arne: he's sooo good! Thank you both for this great tip. I'm just starting to learn Brioche, but I did purchase your pattern already, so I can make it soon. 🧶
We hope you like it!
The brioche sweater is beautiful and I love the blue color too. I do think Carlos will look great in the pink one when completed. And of course Arne, you will look terrific in the blue. So, who gets the red?? 🥰
Not sure yet!
I love this jumper and am wondering if it would knit up okay in cotton as I have a son who cannot wear wool?
Seeing your brioche jumpers in so many colours looks sooo good. I have just learnt how to do brioche and have your pattern on my list of knits. I wonder what colour I will choose 🤔
All of them!
❤❤
Thank you!
Hi, I enjoy watching all your podcasts and have a question: does brioche stitch use a lot more wool than if one were to knit a jersey just in stocking stitch? Thanks. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you for the video, do you stretch all sleeves.
I have ordered the pattern for the Cosy sweater. Looking forward in knitting while in chemo for cancer. Is there any chance to make the sweater completely in the round so no sewing would be necessary? BTW, I love your channel and currently working on the lace scarf.
Hi. What do you mean by Alpaca classic then norwegian wool please? What thickness etc. Thank you
Really enjoy watching you both,Is it possible to buy the socks that you knit.
Hi Jean, we only sell patterns not knitted products.
Sorry, Im new here! Where can I get the pink yarn? I love the color!
👍❤️😊
Ooh! love that shade of pink, a dusty rose......thank you for this, I always freeze when it comes to finally piecing a sweater together, I think mostly because I hear of many different ways to do it and I'm worried I'm doing it wrong. Can you use this way of piecing together a sweater for all patterns?
You can use the Kitchener stitch for many sweaters or you can steer. Here is a playlist with all our steeking tutorials: ruclips.net/video/K8UVwATDASw/видео.html
any tricks sewing off Arne?
How do you increase on the sleeves?
Am I right that you knit each element in the round and then cut it into pieces for sewing? Love the pink!
No. This brioche sweater is knitted in pieces and sewn together.
I am knitting a second bigger hat. Then I am starting on Arne’s sweater. I haven’t decided the color yet.
So many colour choices.
Can you do this in two color brioche?
do you ever put another color for the sleeve?
We have not done that yet.
How do i knit the sleeves
Hi Arne & Carlos I bought the pattern and the Norwegian wool and i knitted the ribbing and a piece of the brioche pattern about 30 rows thent I realises the tention is to tight for 3mm so I want to rip back and start the brioche pattern with a 4mm. my Question: do you think I must proceed with 3mm because of it may strectch out or must I use 4mm. I zoomed into your sweater and i saw your beautiful tention, was this with a 3mm too?Thank you.
Hi Margaret! Could you please contact us through our website for pattern related questions☺️
Takk!
Thank you so much for supporting us!
is that like a rib stitch?
You can watch out tutorial on brioche here: ruclips.net/video/L2zJadaVeRI/видео.html
Is that a wall of snow behind you?
Curtains and snow outside☺️
Useful tips but I'm sure that when I'll do it will not look like so easy😅
Are you sewing on the wrong side, or the right side of the pieces? The purl side is the wrong side?
Sincerely, I don't understand why people hate purling.
Carlos found stick pin or needle on left sleeve...ouch😱
I try to knit everything in the round if at all possible. Why? Because I also sew, and that involves putting together the fabric puzzle in order to make the garment in question, and it just is very tiresome to have to work and work and work to make the fabric to then have to piece it together. (UGH) So is sewing your knitting together which is not brioche done the same way?
I really like the soft muted rosy tone of this sweater. Can you please tell us what yarn Carlos used?
I think it is Norwegian wool by Rowan.
@@gmersman Thanks, I'll check it out.
yes
I find sewing parts together to be the worst, especially the armholes. It's so off-putting and I don't like the results, so I have given up knitting jumpers and cardigans altogether. 😞
Oh no, have you tried steeking? ruclips.net/video/K8UVwATDASw/видео.html
