I think the Blythe dolls should wear their beautiful sweaters and have their own Mad Hatter tea party. You could make very small playing card coasters for them. I hope you finish the pop up book you're making! Demonstrating how to get the pages to fold and pop up would be a really fun tutorial. :)
Always fun to watch Arne’s mind work as he loses interest in one project and leaps to another! I hope they can get all the cards into Arne’s notebook, and I have total faith that they can.
I used to buy pop-up books for my daughter When she was young. Now she has a daughter and the first pop/up book I bought my granddaughter is this Alice in Wonderland, after seeing it on your show! Thanks for sharing all of your interests and curiosities!! It’s inspirational! Love visiting with you guys! ❤
What a fun idea for a card party! Thank you for slowing down, Arne! Your instruction was very clear. Love ❤ your sweaters - they look well together! And pop-up books! What absolute fun!🎉 Be well.
How different they look pretty good . Hope you got away ok. If so have a lovely time away. Xx you look, funny Arne with long needles, so used to seeing you with short ones.
When I was little my dad would build buildings with the cards and the winner was who had the highest building before it fell .Love your card pop up.. Thanking you for sharing your wonderful talents…❤
The awesomeness never ends. Your pop-up book reminds me of my Cinderella pop-up book I received from my mom when I was 10. The binding is tattered but the pop-ups work as designed. I am sure we will see your handiwork across the internet😀
Cute coasters! I have never tried felting in the washing machine, but it sounds like a great idea for a bunch of smaller items. I love double knit can koozies that are felted. Glad to hear precious Freja back on duty, watching for moose. ❤️🤗😘
Fun idea, it will make a great gift for someone who is into card games! I really like hearing you summary some important things about felting. I'm gonna start my first felting project today! I've just finished the knitting part of a sweater and I have 5 skeins of 50g each left, so I borrowed your book about knitting slippers from the library and I'm gonna try knit myself a pair. I also gonna look back on the video's you guys made about felting slippers. I'm looking forward to it, I also think that slippers will make a great gift!
I felt soap bars with roving wool in my hands with dish soap and cold water. I’m sure you could felt these little coasters in your hands with dish soap and felt just fine with the aggitation of your hands.
The canasta comment made me smile remembering my grandmother, who loved the game. BTW, i haven’t heard the suit referred to as “clovers” before; I’ve only heard “clubs”. Great tips for felting; I hadn’t considered full loads vs agitation. Explains some of my attempts!
Great coaster idea 👍🏼 It was funny to watch you both eager to get off camera so that you could build the card pop-up, I’m just the same lol! Have fun with your scrapbook. Be well, Sally 🌹
I love the idea of felted coasters. I have felted slippers before. It is an interesting process. I love the sweaters that you guys are wearing. So nice.
Such an interesting programme on felting. We call clovers, clubs. Lots of good hints and tips. By the way, how was your floor when you arrived back at home?
Arne and Carlos! I was at Walmart yesterday and I saw the Dolly Parton cake mix!! 😁 it immediately made me smile as the first time I saw it, I was watching your baking video 😂 with this cake mix! Love to you guys! Sorry I am off subject right now, I just couldn't wait to tell you of the funny experience for me yesterday. Now I will continue to watch your video on felt making. 😊
@@ARNECARLOS 😊 No, I didn't buy one 😁, I'd like to but I try to limit my sugar intake. I work at Walmart, and now Everytime I see the Dolly Parton cake and frosting, I think of both of you, and it warms my heart and makes me smile. Love and Blessing to both of you. ❤
Eeeaaakkk!! I love the coasters!! And I especially love the details of felting, I've been curious. But!! Carlos, your brioche in Red Norwegian Wool!! And Arne, I love your cardigan anytime you wear it! Together?? They're even more stunning, just like you two!! 💙🧶❤️
What are the straps on Arne’s left hand? My arthritis is playing up and I’m having to wear gloves, I never tried felting but my daughter in law manage to felt the baby shawl I managed not to cry when I saw it 😢 x x
Kinetic tape. It’s available in pharmacies that have splints and supports for sale. Physical therapists can recommend how to tape up for muscular pain but I’m not sure how effective it might be for arthritis unless supporting the muscles around the inflamed joint helps. If your DIL kept the baby shawl you can cut it into coasters or patches or…?
Alice In Wonderland is my favorite childhood book! I liked to imagine myself as Alice. Don't judge! 😂😆😁😂 Now you will have to make the Monopoly markers for board game night! Love your creations. Speaking of creations.....the Dolly P coconut cake???? Are we going to know the outcome? I like coconut nut better than banana but that is another story. I could never eat bananas after enjoying one when my brother announced from his room that the pet hamster was eating her babies! Never got over it.....ugh!
Hi everyone! We have some technical difficulties so the pattern is not yet out on our website. Will post it here as soon as it is available❤

Wish my mom were still alive! She was an avid bridge player, hosted many games, and would have loved these!
Amazing, two glueing designers. So funny. The coasters are looking good! Good evening and bye bye.

Clever idea especially for card players.

I have also heard them referred to as "flowers" by Italians. "Fiori"
In Norway we say Kløver, which is more like clover
Great coaster idea 👍🏼 It was funny to watch you both eager to get off camera so that you could build the card pop-up, I’m just the same lol! Have fun with your scrapbook. Be well, Sally 🌹
Thank you Sally!
You two are SOOOO CREATIVE! Love it! Keep them coming!
I love the idea of felted coasters. I have felted slippers before. It is an interesting process. I love the sweaters that you guys are wearing. So nice.
Thank you Lita!
Fun tutorial. Thank you!
Frances, I would have cried! You poor thing.
Thank you for such an interesting episode (as usual, or always)!
I like to throw some tennis balls in the washer when I'm felting. A felted colorwork oven mitt would be a good addition to your pattern library.
you two are amazing!
Hi guys I was so happy to hear about the felting I always wanted to know how to do it thank you so much ❤ See you Wed
See you Irene!
I love Robert Sabuda's work -- he is the maestro of pop ups. Our family favorite is his Wizard of Oz. Arne, I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you Peg!
I love that book!! I have a Snow White Pop up Book. It's fabulous!!😀
I bought one size 6 Prym circular needle to give them a try. They are wonderful, I may replace all my needles as needed. Thank you.
We are glad you like them, we use them a lot!
I loved this tutorial on felting, thank you so much!!! Good luck with the pop up cards🥰👏
You are welcome Gillian!

Hello y’all from Chattanooga
Hi!
Love all your videos but Carlos in that red sweater ❤️
I have learned to use tennisballs in your machine with filting.
I have a questions. With all you hobbies and other things you do, how do you organize your time?
😳🤣😁🍀Thank you.
You are welcome!
I hope your pop up turned out so you post it😊

@@merkinidgit she did not keep it.. thanks for the info
They are kinetic tape to help heal the tennis elbow.
Do you always slip the first stitch in everything you knit?
Most of the time,
felting is not an exact science LIKE BAKING???? hahaha I refer to your interpretation of instructions on Dolly's coconut cake ... Love it
Hmmm…I went to your website and browsed all the patterns, but couldn’t find these coasters.🤔
I'm also looking for them. Would love to gift my game loving family member a set of coasters like these 😄
We are having some technical issues.
Can’t find the pattern for the coasters? Got a link for me? Thanks!
We will post it as soon as its out.
I use towels
