Cute ideas; thanks! As an American, I can't help but notice how nice the words "water bottle" sound when you say them! When we say that, it comes out more like "wodder boddle." 😉
Cute little baskets. As many times I see Arne crocheting (or knitting)he still amazes me when I watch him go so fast and appears he is not looking at his project at all. ❤
I crocheted a ot in the past. I made the pillow shams and king size bedcover with matching cushions different shapes. I used white, blue and nay. My mother loved it so much, since I gave it to her. As we all were out on our own, then she used it on a guest bedroom. She didn't let anyone sleep it, though. I just did the granny stitch pattern square. There were a lot of them. It keeps me busy for a few weeks. I like your little basket idea.❤
Wow very unusual, but I do like your ideas, with felting. So often you just need something to pop your small bits in when walking about, without having a heavy ish bag. Baskets are good also . Hope you enjoyed your break away. Looks like you also have a bit of sun to enjoy. So nice for this time of year.
hi guys great to see you loved the baskets i am currently crocheting a granny square bag it is turning out great well i will catch you later thanks take care
I like the idea of the yarn bowl, because the regular ones can be heavy and cumbersome. Plus you can make such great designs and colors. Thank you both. Have a great week!🤗
LOVE the baskets !!! They are so pretty and ‘artsy’ - love the idea of round basket to hold yarns. All samples are so imaginative and creative ; but what else would one expect from Arne and Carlos !! A great alternative to a ratan basket and these are packable! Love …Marilyn x ❤
These little baskets are great for using up your wool scraps - thanks so much for sharing. It was lovely to see you enjoying the weather in your garden. You guys are wonderful. ❤👍from Somerset, U K
Me encanta el crochet ❤, tejo crochet y 2 agujas ,todo lo que usteses hacen es maravilloso 👏 que lindas plantitas 🌿🪴🌾🌺🌿felicitaciones desde Uruguay 🇺🇾 😊
I have felted many knitted objects, but I never think to felt things I've crocheted... and it's so much faster to construct a little basket with granny squares than with knitting -- guess I know what I'll be getting up to when my WIP list is slightly shorter. 😊
"Beaten up" in the washing machine = "Agitated". The beater in the machine is an agitator. But yes, felting is great! Especially with things like mittens, where they're "fulled". Nålebinding mittens are the best!
You guys have such great ideas for all sorts of crafts! These baskets are so cute, I could imagine them as decorative plant pots. The only downside is you are giving me too many good ideas and now my to-make list is so long I will never get done with it!
2001! For the record, it took me an hour yesterday. I ripped out 3 times. For some reason my concentration was dead, but I finished and that’s what really matters. Maybe it had f do one thing to do with the new Julia Roberts movie on Netflix. Crazy.
That’s a tiny crochet hook Arne is using. Try a larger hook, the looser the gauge the faster the wool will felt. I’d use a US G or H with your Norwegian wool.
Thanks for the tip, but the smaller the hook, the more stitches you get per cm and that makes the basket more dense and more stable. If crocheted too loosely, it wont stand on its own. The wool is untreated and feltable, so it will felt well regardless, after one wash in the machine.
@@ARNECARLOS Very true! I’m going to try it both ways and may end up lining the larger baskets with some fabric and stiffening interlining. I think they are really cute and versatile!
Your projects are so fun! I love you guys. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved". Romans 10:9
❤A great alternative to gift bags! Who wouldn’t want little treats/gifts in a sweet little basket?
Great idea!❤️
That is a very nice idea.
A great way to use up left over yarn too!
I’ve always preferred the look of knitted objects, but you are just full of wonderful ideas that give me new appreciation for crocheting! Thank you! ❤

Or my daughter who we raised in Maryland says it funny too.
Thank you for posting these fun videos from your lovely Norwegian garden!
The little felted basket is so adorable! Arne just wants to make more and forget about talking right now- a true creative artist!
Arne and Carlos, we will have many milestones before the million mark. We can celebrate your 1000th video upload on RUclips. You are very close.
Thank you!
I had noticed this, Arne, as you walked around with Kate. Thank you!
You are welcome!
These would be really sweet gifts. This time of year it is time to get in gear and start gift projects. Thanks. Bye👋
Cute little baskets. As many times I see Arne crocheting (or knitting)he still amazes me when I watch him go so fast and appears he is not looking at his project at all. ❤
These crochet up so quickly and easily. You can’t wait to make all the things. I’ve given several gifts and everyone asks for more.
That is so nice to hear Timothy

Fabulous shirt, Arne! And great baskets, too, of course!❤
These baskets are so cute boys. I might treat myself to one month of your membership on my birthday.
Loved the baskets! Would be a fun evening project when you just want to finish something.
Yes, and a nice Christmas gift as well.

I need a house warming gift and this will be perfect!

Take care Irene!

True!
I was trying to figure out if you could do a double basket for two colors-but maybe it would be better to just have two baskets.
Happy Sunday! Loved watching you out in the garden on such a beautiful day. I enjoyed hearing the birds and seeing your crochet talent. ❤😘
This is a great way to felt an item on purpose 🤨 These are beautiful and functional.
Yes!
❤ Thank you Arne and Carlos for this great tutorial. Enjoyed it very much!😊
Love these baskets! Thank you

Hi from Hilton Head South Carolina. Got to make the small basket
Hi Marcia!
I love felting! I have a small stash of Rowan Norwegian wool, this basket should be a great small project!
Really lovely design and colours. Loved the flowers on your table too! 😊
These containers are super cute. Thank you for sharing and coming up with these wonderful ideas. Got to try the felting soon.❤
Oooooo Crochet for a change! 😃 I love Arne & Carlos but oddly enough I don’t knit 😏…this was a nice surprise! & these I can do!
Happy crochetinng!
Love these baskets! Makes me want to learn how to crochet ❤

That is true
This is fun both for felting and for off-centering the colors, AND it's one I can make with our granddaughter, who is learning to crochet!
This is a great project for that.
Me encanta el crochet ❤, tejo crochet y 2 agujas ,todo lo que usteses hacen es maravilloso 👏 que lindas plantitas 🌿🪴🌾🌺🌿felicitaciones desde Uruguay 🇺🇾 😊
Beautiful baskets and bottle holder! It reminds me of a quilt style, log cabin. I like then un-felted, too! 👍🏼💜
Thank you!

Great idea for felting 👍
Worked in autumn colors these would be pretty as fruit & gourd baskets.
Great suggestion David.
Great way to use my Norwegian wool scraps❤❤
You two are full of so many great ideas!
Thank you!
Great way to use up scraps as well, as great little gifts!❤️
Uhhhh...davvero adorabili questi lavoretti! ❤❤
what a fun idea. Things won't fall out of the holes as they would in normal crochet.
Yes!
I’d like that little one for thread bits, too!❤
Wow...awesome beautiful craft/colors 😍

That is a nice idea
I was thinking for plants too. They would absorb some water if you spill.
Wonderful!
Great one I’ve tried crocheting but it never worked out now with arthritis in my hand I can’t hold the hook 😊
Those are really cute, and I like making granny squares …….now I just have to try to remember which of my wool scraps are NOT superwash. Hmmmm……
Good luck👍🏻❤️
The felted basket is so cute ! Do you have a pattern for felted slippers ?
We wrote a whole book, and have done a tutorial as well. shop.arnecarlos.com/?s=Slippers&post_type=product

Is that possibly corner to corner crochet? It looks a bit like it. I like the idea of these crocheted baskets, but my current UFOs demand attention!
Do they have to be pure wool,i don't like the feel of pure wool lol xx
if it's not pure wool, it won't felt well. Sorry!
Yes, they need to be pure wool
@@ARNECARLOS Thank You x
