Only two, Annette Lidawer and Andres Tapia, wanted to place it on tonight’s agenda. The mayor refused to do so, as did every other member. When asked at the meeting, the Mayor doubled down on her decision to delay consideration until 2025. This has been “ considered”, weighed, researched, discussed for a year. The council has no reason to delay a vote, or to even to delay amending the provision.
