    This entire process could be eliminated, if the state gave tenants the right to place the rental fees in an escrow account. The answer is NOT to allow the landlord to make repairs on his/her time (if at all), nor does it resolve the problem if tenants are not allowed to return to their rental homes.

      Exactly 💯 and causing one to have to leave for what the tenant believes is for the repair time All the while they have no real intention having their EXSPECTED even for what failure to lawfully provide their tenant for having them to even desire paying just rents because its always ALL been in the greedy landlords favor don't want that tenant back but actually getting them to leave the premise tosses the whole ball in the landlords Ball court when they have been even outright outside of unjustified illegal required service for obtaining payment and absolutely tho lip service they don't mean saying they care if were true they'd never have and fully well knowing they'd been* knowing EXSPECTING people to live in makeshift even possibly life threatening conditions they'd no intentions to rectifying but that they no longer want to wait for what they think is automatic MONEY owed them and for their negligence especially gross neglangenc which is at federal law breaking offense of their own want and exspect the victimized tenant to just happily pay up what and to the Penny they don't even owe them worse is they've usually all the money to hire their own thugs and buy justice in their favor again this tenant gets totally debases made homeless even sick permanently more ways than one scarred and these fraudulent GREEDY less than genuinely unforthright heartless merciless but very sneaky cunning all about their narcissistic selves win out over the tenant wether collected what they try EXSTORRING or not put the horrific ruin on going hardship on the tenant that went into the renting in good faith always More than just one side of the story and it's long over due All the homelessness CAUSE rather than just that homeless condition needs to be seriously and justly studied and reevaluated Because it's these imposters a whole lot in fact too many of them so called landlords have gotten other's wealths to be In landlords status at the exsperience of outright railroading the people and over half in USA aren't even legal citizens rather embezelment of the rightful heir's USA legal citizens tax payers and supposed to be beneifits Even their already passed BELOVED RIP WHO THOUGHT THEY WORKED ALL THEIR LIVES AND MANAGED TO LEAVE INHERITANCES FOR THEIR OWN ONLY BEING WRONGFULLY DISTRIBUTED TO ALL KIND OF FOREIGNERS IN THEIR OWN ENSLAVERY WILLING TO KEEP PAYING THEM AND MAKING HUGE PROFITS OFF INVESTED MONIES BELONGING TO THE LEGAL CITIZENS GIVEN IN ALL SORTS OF GIFTS SO CALLED GRANTS ETC PUTTING THESE UNCARING INSINCERE FOREIGNERS IN BUISNESS OVER THE USA PEOPLE TO WHOM IT GENUINELY RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO IN THE FIRST PLACE ALL THE WHILE THESE ALIENS LITERALLY BRAGGING THEY OWN 58 PLUS MOTELS APARTMENTS TRAILER PARKS HOMES USA BUISNESS MY LORD GOD CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE WHEN WILL THESD GREEDY FRAUDULENT IMPOSTORS EVER SINCERELY BE FORCED TO FORFEIT WHAT ISN'T LAWFULLY THEIRS IN THE FIRST PLACE MUCH MORE BE FAIR VALUE VS FIVE TIMES MARK UPS THEY FOREVER EMBEZEL FROM THE REAL PEOPLE WHO THEY'RE AND LONG TOO LONG HAVE BEEN OUTRIGHT UNDENIABLY NO LESS THAN FLEECING CREATING EXSCRUCISTING IRREVERSIBLE AND PERMANENT HAZARDS AND DAMAGES THE UNSUSPECTING EVEN MOSTLY INNOCENT PEOPLE CAN'T SEE THEIR WAY CLEAR TO RECOVERING FROM IN THE REAL TIME AND FULL REALITY OF THESE MATTERS IT JUST REALLY SURPASSED OUTTA CONTROL THO A PERSON KNOWS LAW LAW WON'T ENFORCE THEIR RIGHTS ONLY THE APPEARKNG RICH THAT SEEM THEY'VE ALREADY THE UPPER HAND TOO MUCH RED TAPE WORK TIME AND PAPERWORK FOR THEM SO THEY JUST OPT FOR ALLOWING THE PEICES TO FALL WHERE THEY MAY THEN WONDER WHY EVEN LAW ENFORCEMENT IS ATTACKED EVERY WHICH WAY BUT RIGHT NO MORE IT'S ALL CORRUPTION OUTRIGHT SELLING USA RIGHTFUL HIERS PEOPLE LEGAL CITIZENS UP THE RED SEA RIVER WITHOUT JUSTNESS PERIOD TOTALLY DISGRACEFUL WITHOUT EXCUSE ON ANY RIGHT JUDGING USA CITIZENS IN OVERSEEING POSITIONS TO BE SO CRIMINALLY NON CHELAUNT ABOUT. OVERWHELMING AND DISGUSTING! QUESTION REALLY IS WHO'S GOING TO BE FORTHRIGHT RIGHTEOUS AND BOLD ENOUGH TO TACKLE THAT BEAST PUT US ALL OUT OF OUR IMPOSED UPON UNJUST MISERIES RELEIVNG US FROM THEM SMILE IN YOUR FACE DAGGERING YOUR BACK KIND OF IMMAGRANTS SO CALLED INNOCENT PEOPLE THAT IN REALITY HATE US AND ARE FAST AT WORK ATTEMPTING TO TAKE FULL AUTHORITY OF THIS COUNTRY PERIOD ISLAMISTS SHARIA LAW AGENDASISTS THAT ARE FAST AT WORK IN THEIR OWN CRAFTINESS ENDEAVORS AND RIGHT IN THE LIGHT OF DAY AND INFRONT OF THE EYES OF THE ALL OF US TIME TO DECLARE WAR AGAINST THESE IMPOSTERS RIGHT HERE IN OUR OWN USA FRONT AND BACK YARDS PERIOD THEY'LL BE NO AMERICA RECOGNIZABLE IT'S HARDLY THAT AS IS SPOKEN OF HERE AND NOW. KNOW IT. IT'S A PLAGUE OF IT'S OWN THE REAL DISASTER AND FINAL AMERICAN WAKE UP SLEEPERS CALL BELIEVE IT

    we have paid our rent in full for 5 years. Lately the landlord is not helping and fixing the problems here, we have a septic pouring out toilet waist in the backyard and now front yard. Its 3 months now, and he wont fix it, in addition to that problem, we have large holes in the walls from rain over the years, now black mole is growing and the electric wires are showing outside. We are in a single wide trailer. It is about 30 years old. We are in Hendersonville NC.

      With the conditions of the place move out.
      If you are still staying there you are choosing to stay in that condition putting your own health at risk.

      Not sure I’m n the same situation mine is actually way worse but I can’t afford all the deposit fees etc. it’s $10,000 upfront min! So be kind n think before texting don’t every one is out for blood

    What about if the land lord tells you that they don't have money repairing

    What if a landlord knows about the situation but still won't fix it. He claims he can't afford to make repairs. If does do some he fusses because he has to.

      I am guessing that you do not live in Section 8 or public housing. If you do, in the State of North Carolina, General Statute 42 covers problems such as yours. It's a short read, send a copy to the irresponsible landlord and call the N.C. General Attorney's office. You will speak to someone who is aware of these issues. If you're not satisfied, send an email to the N.C. AG Josh Stein. If you don't, the remedy works in both cases. Good luck.

      @@juliebasinger2633 There are people who have neen living here for 8 years, and ever time they complain he threaten to evict them I believe , and they have no where to go, so they just put up with it. My apartment operates fairly well, I am just concerned for the other tenates. I don't complain, but he makes an issue to try make me complain. He complained to my nephew that there was dog feces all over my apartment the day , and he lied, to him. There was a roach infestation in my kitchen cabinet, and soaked it spray. That is the problem,not feces. Anyway I swept up a pile of roaches. I left my cabinet open and they are not gathered up in there. It 's clear, except for the ones that hide. I bought a dish rack to put dishes on , it didn't have one. I had to clean up the roach waste first. They been there for a while. Now it is nice and clean.

      @@shellyblanchard5788 it would take him going to court, allowing them to stay for 60-90 days, and the lose of rental income. Tell him, go ahead and evict us. Take some pics for the judge, include everyone in your efforts.

      @@juliebasinger2633 This guy would evict in a heart beat. He has no concern for others in this. He was even elaberating with my nephew some things that weren't so the other like he had something to do with me living here.
      My nephew is 52 and he has his own place to live. I will soon be 67, and what buisness has he to do fussing at my nephew over me?
      He even raised the others rent saying to them that property tax went up. He own a restaurant, lets people rent it and when they don't make enough to pay it to him for the leasing he closes it.
      Then he comes over and sceams and holler about things thats not even legitimate.
      He claimed there were dog feces last time in here , it wasn't true. He called my nephew and lied to him.
      I told my nephew he lied. I don't think the guy has um good as we say in the south. 😂
      This guy said I was going to have leave the first if I didn't clean up.
      When I went to he was kind of stunned that I did. He didn't mention anything but he knew he went over boundary a bit.
      One thing I am still adjusting to my 2 sisters death nearly two years ago , it been pretty hard dealing with. My brother in law died back in April last year. They were older than me.

    I have a bad mold exposure.I email and sent pictures to my landlord.And the only thing they did was put Windows in.I am on medical for this.And went up on my rent from 525 to 750 which is crazy.I have mold every where all on my bed my grandkids toys..etc.And I have carpet it got to be in the carpet.The smell is so bad.I am trying to move but I am on Disability.What can I do need help..ASAP

      Take photo's . as many as possible! Have times dates and videos if possible demand repairs

    Theresa I have to move in 8 days I got evictions and have no help the judge didn't let me show my case and she say what she wanted I got 10 days to get out I need help to file an application not to move I can move in 8 days please help me please
