I have/had mold in my apartment, weak floors, roach and bedbug infestation. My kitchen floor collapsed. Fire Marshall had to cut my leg from floor from vacant apt underneath me bc it was breached onto metal rod and tangled in wiring. They discovered black mold everywhere, later condemning the building. I have pictures and also video of maintenance manager admitting that he and property management were aware of the situation. I have an attorney for my personal injury, however, the black mold is a different matter. Can you be of assistance?

Hello and thank you for your comment! We are not able to provide individual advice here, however we encourage you to call our statewide intake office at 1-888-346-5592 if you need assistance. We also have an option to apply online for certain legal issues at www.lawhelp.org/sc/online-intake.
If you are not located in SC (where we are located), we encourage you to find the Legal Services provider closest to you by visiting www.lsc.gov and choosing the "Find Legal Aid" option in the top right corner. This will provide legal resources for those who may not be able to afford an attorney.
Eligibility for assistance through SCLS depends on your income and assets, as well as the type of legal problem you have. We cannot guarantee that every application will be accepted for legal representation.

The common sense thing would be to simply move and stop exposing yourself to these hazards.

It's about landlord doing the right thing.
Alot of landlords will fail to maintain properties and tenants suffer.
Maybe landlords do the right thing to avoid lawsuits?
