    thank you so much for sharing us how to terminate by using Open normal return right
    i would like to ask if they allow dry return in your facilities? I am still new in this field under preceptor..

      @Nursegermz  Год назад

      I’m not familiar with the term. It depends on your facility. You should follow your facility’s protocol so the best thing to do is ask your preceptor

    hi! ano po advantages and disadvantages ng open vs close technique termination?

    • @Nursegermz
      @Nursegermz  Год назад

      It’s more on the aseptic technique. Any exposure to the environment like the open one is prone to contamination so definitely the closed technique is better. But that is per facility’s protocol so whichever it is, you have to follow it.

      You do home dialysis?

    • @willysmith5225

      @@Nursegermz in center dialysis Now. But i need to start doing at home. My home no good water source, so must bring water from else where. Thanks for your response.

      If you are doing home dialysis, your machine should come with the portable reverse osmosis system that treats your source water. We only mix bicarb powder and it's 840g bicarb powder plus 5L water. I don't know with acid. What I suggest though is to ask from the facility you are tied up since our set up here in the Philippines is way different from yours.

    What is the surface area of this Dialyzer..?

    • @Nursegermz
      @Nursegermz  Год назад

      you can understand that simply by dialyzer’s size either low flux or high flux meaning their efficiency for clearance. Low flux dialyzers have smaller surface than high flux. So, the higher its surface area, the more efficient the clearance is.

    pano po yung pag emptying the dialyzer?

      Are you transitioning from Bbraun to Fresenius? That is usually automatic that can be seen in Bbraun screen but I don't see that icon in Fresenius. The technicians do that themselves lang. What we usually do is, off lang dialysate then remove coupling.
