Absolutely loved lost from start to end. I didn't know a single person who didn't love it, that was until twitter became the social space to crap on things and Lost was one of the very first shows to take a hit in that way. It's always curious seeing people who enjoyed it change their mind because of random people's negative reactions towards it. It's pretty telling for the most part, and something that's echoed through media ever since.
It's also telling that if you watch any React channels, when they get to the ending of Lost, almost no one dislikes it. I've checked out more than a few react channels, have to be at least a couple dozen by now, and literally only one person on a group channel said she didn't think the ending was great. And even then, it wasn't a huge meltdown saying worst ending ever, she was just like, "Meh." But she also couldn't believe that this was the mythical "most hated ending ever" based on everything she heard beforehand on the internet. She just thought it was a little underwhelming, but nothing compared to the godawful endings of shows like GoT or Dexter, etc. Besides that, literally everyone else I've seen likes the ending with more than a few super emotional, crying at it.
It was a lackluster ending, and anticlimactic. Like there was no point to any of it. Nothing to bring it all together and say wow! The critique on the ending is totally legit.
Great segment guys! I was training for my first deployment to Iraq when "LOST" first aired. I managed to see the first couple episodes (along with Desperate Housewives) but like Nestor said. I lost the "thread" due to other commitments.
i’ve always been fascinated with hollywood as it pertains to the entry level jobs. i would be just as excited to be sweeping the floors on my favorite movie than being able to act in it. movies are movies. shows are shows. to be a part of it would be cool. period.
My problem with the ending of Lost was that it was so predictable. Even after a few episodes I had and many others had a strong feeling it would end the way it did and the creators denied (suppose they had to) but it just made me feel extra cheated by the end.
@@bazman05 I don't think there's any deeper meaning to the ending of Lost other than the emotional journey the characters took. You think just because some people enjoy something you don't, it must be some "trick ending" or pseudointellectual BS when in reality, no, we liked the ending because the ending was emotionally affecting to us. It wasn't for you, that's fine. But no conspiracy behind it. What I do mean however by my statement is that you literally misunderstood the ending. Let me guess, you're mad because "they were dead the whole time"? Yeah, you literally misunderstood the ending.
I watched the entire series, after watching the last few episodes, I was kicking myself for wasting ( all ) the time I ever watched any part of it. They disrespected everyone that at first enjoyed it.
Richard was a really interesting character. Loved his flashback episode a lot.
He was great in Bates Motel!
Richard was in my top 5, maybe even top 3 next to Desmond Hume. Ab Aeterno really solidified it for me. One of the best episodes in the entire series

My theory on Lost is that the people who hated the ending did so because the writers didn't pick those people's pet theory on Lost.

Preach.

@@jackalope_hunternah. Ending was on point.
This guy is phenomenal in the Morning Show on Apple TV+
I would have thought Suddenly Susan would have been his big break. Either way he's awesome and he was great in LOST as well.
He was also great on that Tea Leona sitcom, The Naked Truth, where they played reporters.

How the fuck has Richard still not aged

I loved the ending of LOST too ... I dream about it some nights.
Wait wait wait, does he age at all?
Makes sense: if you have to cast a character who doesn’t age, hire an actor who doesn’t age!
Didn't have an issue with the Lost finale either.

Doubt.

Ah, another person who misunderstood the ending.
@@EACru2002 Yes, and thanks for announcing yourself.
Trying to find meaning where there isn't any aren't you?
You Lost "fanboys" crack me up.

1:14 That ending sucked. I loved LOST until the final season. It was crap.
I don't always talk back to the RUclips video, but when I do I yell "The ending sucked!" 😀

The last few episodes, made the entire series an embarrassment.
The ending was perfect
@@daltonio6001 It was a perfect Embarrassment, the majority of the viewers agree with me, just start reading comments on other videos about it.
The whole last season was mostly filler. The whole "temple" thing was a joke. Total waste of Hiroyuki Sanada's talents.
He voiced Señor Senior Junior in Kim Possible! He’s a fantastic voice actor! 🙌🏾✨
