I saw a Jaguar in a zoo one time, and a couple of leopards in cage further down. Leopards are strong cats but a Jaguar is much bigger, and it's neck and head is stupid big for a cat , on top of that was it's growl, like a 5.0 L V8 on idle.

A gun won't help you when a jaguar jumps on your back and shatters your skull in one powerful bite, they're strong enough to kill crocs in one bite so a human skull isn't a match. Good luck shooting it in that one/two second time frame. But yes guns prob help if theres multiple people, otherwise a gun will help you as much as a knife will in the case of an ambushing jaguar.

"R-R-RUMBLE" The "experts" say jaguars can't purr, and I find that ridiculous. I'm no expert, just some guy who used to hang out with a jaguar.

The fact that he willing rolled over for you is a huge show of trust as the belly is where jaguars and other big cats are the most vulnerable. Him not only rolling over, but letting you touch him and give him scritches shows that you've earned his total trust.
the belly is the most well armored part of a cat. the neck comes right after that. both areas are covered with extra skin layers and fat tissue acting like lose skin on a badger. its next to impossible to puncture or cut it if youre a predator trying to kill the cat. its also their preferred way of fighting if they defend themselves. laying on the back using all 4 legs to do damage while not having to worry too much about your own health. yes its a sign of trust but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO its not the weakes most vulnerable part. its the other way arround. pls stop believing this bullshit...
@@peniskopf653 Errr no. While yes the belly has tougher skin and they can use all 4 legs to attack, it is not the toughest part on their body. All of their internal organs are exposed to that side. Their backs are the strongest parts. protected by their spine, followed by their ribs. Their necks are more protected than their bellies, considering there is bone there. Not to mention, the neck is a significantly smaller target than their underbellies. Big cats have tough under bellies but it is nowhere near their strongest side.
Their fur is something between a normal cat and of a normal dog. Your touch feels more of their fat than the fur itself XD they are very warm. If you press your hand against them you can clearly feel their muscles. There is a hardness, like something firm. Normal cats dont have that feeling to the touch. I think thats why these creatures are so strong. So its a mix of hardness and softness and warmth.

The fact that he willing rolled over for you is a huge show of trust as the belly is where jaguars and other big cats are the most vulnerable. Him not only rolling over, but letting you touch him and give him scritches shows that you've earned his total trust.

the belly is the most well armored part of a cat. the neck comes right after that. both areas are covered with extra skin layers and fat tissue acting like lose skin on a badger. its next to impossible to puncture or cut it if youre a predator trying to kill the cat. its also their preferred way of fighting if they defend themselves. laying on the back using all 4 legs to do damage while not having to worry too much about your own health. yes its a sign of trust but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO its not the weakes most vulnerable part. its the other way arround. pls stop believing this bullshit...
@@peniskopf653 Errr no. While yes the belly has tougher skin and they can use all 4 legs to attack, it is not the toughest part on their body. All of their internal organs are exposed to that side. Their backs are the strongest parts. protected by their spine, followed by their ribs. Their necks are more protected than their bellies, considering there is bone there.
Not to mention, the neck is a significantly smaller target than their underbellies. Big cats have tough under bellies but it is nowhere near their strongest side.

I happened to have the chance to hold and pet a young jaguar at a sanctuary in Mexico and their fur is not soft like a house cat but more coarse
Their fur is something between a normal cat and of a normal dog. Your touch feels more of their fat than the fur itself XD they are very warm. If you press your hand against them you can clearly feel their muscles. There is a hardness, like something firm. Normal cats dont have that feeling to the touch. I think thats why these creatures are so strong. So its a mix of hardness and softness and warmth.

@@monona1305 maybe the jaguar was a rescue cub and grew up around humans and by the looks it seems like they're eating good also who knows what's behind the camera it might be a really big backyard or ranch and the jaguar just so happens to be sleeping next to the fence
