Thank you Mr. Martin for yet another helpful tutorial! How do you properly mirror a coordinate system? When I try, the result points its axes in the same 3 directions as the original.
I believe based on information in the PTC Knowledge Base, the resulting orientation depends on the coordinate system's location with respect to the mirror plane and it takes the right hand rule into consideration. I'll have to test for myself. But according to PTC, that works according to product specification.

Hi, how do you delete a Mirror & retain only the original? When I try to delete the Mirrored feature, Creo would require the original feature be deleted as well.
Hi, having trouble, bit of a brick wall putting rounds (fillets) on a mirrored part because they're assembly elements. Many features missing because they aren't parts. I remember Old creo would mirror the part as a part in a part. I find this very disjointed. Try running a round around your parting line . You could do a swept feature but you can't extrude features in an assembly. You could extrude along your part line and then round but only positive features rather than negative subtractive rounds. Locked out of choices? Any suggestions on mirror feature(whole model) in a part and not a new part new window limited assembly choices. Many thanks for the video and hopefully a possible solution. I am currently working on making drawings for suspension mounts of a formula car I have two quantities of each part; the original and the mirrored Is there a quick to produce the drawing of the mirrored part using the original drawing or do I have to go through the whole drawing process again for every mirrored part?
There is an alternate method depending on what version of Creo you are in... but is it necessary? I did some testing, and could not find a difference in geometry by changing the plane.
@@CADPLMGuy I'm using creo 6. In my opinion it is nessesary when my part is symmetric on one plane (but on others not), and the automatic plane of the mirror is that exact plane. So if I want to mirror the part, nothing happens.
@@CADPLMGuy I designed a drone's propeller blade. I started by creating one side of the blade with sweep blend then try mirroring it to create otherside. But the problem is I want that part to be turned 45°

Now that I have made the mirror component independent I want to make it dependent again. Please tell us how to do that as u said in this

Use the Mirror Component command.
Can I rotate a part that I mirrored ?

You can always use the Warp tool to transform geometry... but why would you need to?
