Hi, I am not using the latest version of WSJT-X, if I upgrade to the latest version can I transfer my log file, as I don’t want to lose the data. 73 from Scotland GM4KHE
Good video Tom! Maybe one suggestion: bring the background music down to a quarter of that level. The music is a bit distracting. Thank you for taking the time to develop this training. 73 de N1SFT
This was one of the first videos I ever did - Since then, and after having received multiple comments about the music, I no longer use it, except in very rare instances. Thanks, 73 de Tom, ND3N
That video was an earlier experiment with using music to cover up the background noise. I’ve since moved my shack to a back room where I can close the door and block most of the noise and haven’t used music since - except occasionally as a filler where it is appropriate. Thanks for caring enough to point out how I can improve my videos, though. 73 de Tom, ND3N
Please ditch the music bed once you've done your intro. It serves no purpose & is distracting from the info. I have tinnitus & have a little problem hearing as it is.
That video was done almost 3 years ago. I was new to doing these videos then and still experimenting with what would work. I discarded the music shortly afterwards. Check out some of my newer videos. I think you’ll find that I have improved…
This just saved me a ton of time. Thanks, Tom.
Glad it helped!
Thanks Tom for clear and short instructions. They really helped me.

How do I set up for Ten Ten contests? They require other information than the regular contests.
If you look next to the send macros, you’ll see a tab labeled “2”. Click on that and in there you can customize your messages.
@@ND3N ok but will the logging be compatible with 10 10 contest log? if so how do i set that up?

Upgrading will not affect your logs. They’re stored in a permanent file.

Thanks for the video. Great stuff. A polite little request: please dont add any music, it's so distracting. Your voice is already interesting ;-)
