I dont care what anyone says, this is one of my favorite games in the franchise. This game is pretty nostalgic, I remember playing this in around 2016-2017 on my xbox 360, great times.

are you serious? rogue was amazing, especially the ending and the soundtrack, goosebumps! next is brotherhood and revelation for me... but of course is black flag nice too

this is probably the best assassins creed full gameplay Ive seen, unlike the others you did try to understand the game mechanics and upgrade your ship often
I liked Black Flag a lot for its pirate theme and naval battles, but this rogue caught my attention for being an assassin who becomes a Templar and for taking place in snowy areas. He's been through it a few times and I've always enjoyed doing the side activities and scouring the city for chests and watchtowers. I passed it on PS3 and recently on PC and I don't stop liking it.
He's not just been through it. He lived it. The poor lad tried to do what was right. He had no choice. And it temporarily pained him to kill Adéwalé, someone who freed himself as a slave and sailed free as Pirate Quartermaster on the ocean blue until late 1710s and Early 1720s where he drifted away from that position which was at the same time where Adé met the Assassins.
8:06:44 to 8:08:16 and 8:19:14 best plot twist because Assassin's Creed Rogue storyline connected to three games and two dlc of the games. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Freedom Cry dlc is an important one.
Also plus DLC. Adéwalé discusses the spoilers of Freedom Cry after you meet a younger Achilles Davenport. Port Au Prince, Haiti was the main area in Freedom Cry, a DLC Expansion of Black Flag. The moment he appeared there was connection with Freedom Cry and Black Flag. The moment Achilles Davenport appeared it was connection with 3.

@@davidberzsnews8872 launched it about 8 in the morning and finished it at about nine and keep in mind I have a lot of experience from previous games so it wasn't really a challenge
@@beastmotozunity was supposed to be a prototype, it was glitchy as hell on release, rogue was supposed to continue black flag that's why they made it on same engine as black flag.
While i do discontinue playing Black Flag because of being too repetitive, too long, plot that basically says things goes randomly until the observatory is found, period appropriate capitalizations, and underwater sections, i don't regret buying Rogue because they addressed all the problems.

Ezio would've been disgusted on how the American Assassins strayed from their path and probably would have supported Shay
Right? Shay was a good man and good Assassin, but the Colonial Brotherhood was blind until the end.
Connor ultimately would change things around for the American Brotherhood years later under a revised teaching from Achilles.
It’s also funny to note the similarities between Connor and Shay. Shay single-handedly almost ended the Colonial Assassins and Connor single-handedly ended the American Templars

Love ac rogue so much! Completed tje game on tje remastered version when it first came out back ij 2018 and even completed on the switch. The only ac game i love, rogue is my beloved game in my top 5. I love the anti hero who slowly trasformed from an assassin to an assassin hunter to an templar
I also think rogue had a great story, but the gameplay and everything else was just like a dlc for ac black flag .
Kinda late but shay is more like of a anti-hero then turns into a villain if u follow the ac unity

This game had so much potential to be a trilogy. Seriously throughout the entire franchise we had never seen it from the Templars perspective until this game. And haven't had another like it since.
I didn't like Shay much as a character but I enjoyed this game simply because how they switched it up
If this is made into a movie, Jim Caviezel should play Shay...

Rogue was my first ever Assassin's Creed game that I played, and I played it on PS3. Now that I have PC, I wonder what Assassin's Creed games should I buy? I don't really mind a bit buggy gameplay as long as the story is good.

@@krisys1 Nah, Shay Cormac died at age 83 (1814). Connor Kenway was born in 1756 (Shay was 25) & Arno Dorian born in 1768 (Shay was 37, 45 when he killed Charles Dorian in 1776, Dorian was 8.)
This in mind, they could easily make a story where Arno teams up with Connor in 1796 to go after Shay, who would be 65 in this year. Old, yes, but you could definitely make him still a nightmare for Master Assassins, especially with the full force of the Templars beside him. I also think it would be cool to see him have a son maybe, but some Templars having the training/skills of Assassins so it makes the game a bit more challenging.
Me personally, I think it would be a decent game to feature 3-4 protagonists in one game, with the ending boss obviously being Shay but they wouldn't be able to kill him off yet because his death is in 1814, almost 20 years after 1796, so you could have him escape on a cliffhanger.
This also lines up with the lore, because I think Connor Kenway dies in 1812, 2 years before Shay Cormac. You could basically do a huge DLC that features 4 protagonists (Arno Dorian, Connor Kenway, Aveline & Shay Cormac) between 1796 - 1814, & have Connor killed in a battle trying to Assassinate Shay Cormac but failing once again, this time with his life, leaving Arno & Aveline to eventually finish the job in 1814, when Shay is clearly older & nowhere near what he used to be.
I think this gives good endings for all Assassins involved, without nerfing Shay or making anyone else feel too OP.

Large ships like galleons...were never a good choose for pirates..they proved super slow...what a pirate vessel need is her ability to fight and flight...In this way morrigan is one great ship... Love her and was making models resembling her that time....
Unless you infer to The Spanish Galleons El Imputo and La Dama Negra. The former being a quick ship and hits like a bull. Plus Man O' Wars are badass and a pain to deal with. So you wouldn't blame Blackbeard and Black Bart for trying to snatch one.
Personally one of the greatest AC games in the franchise

OK OK,Remake this video,Shay gets Strenght,as someone said that Shay can stop a charging Elk,Durability also has to go to Shay because the man fell from a cliff that was waaaaaay bigger than the building Ezio fell off,and also during the Lisbon earthquake he fell from a building,and he hit his back and face(I think)and still ran top speed,and Iq also goes to Shay,Cmon Shay is from a more modern world and has more modern knowledge than Ezio,and the time gap of intelligence is massive,and he was taught by Haytham Kenway,and he is the second smartest in the franchise after Altair,and feats go to Shay,

2.ended the prime of the brotherhood
3.Was able to survive a whole ass cliff fall,(Kratos reference)
4.Survived heart poisoning
5.killed his masters
6.destroyed legendary ships(not sure on this one)

Love the game. Shot but good plots twist. Also it would be epic if there a battle between Shay (older version) and Connor. An assassin became a Templar vs the son of a Templar became an Assassin. Who will win!!! Plus I where them on the final I would join the Templar and ran away in the shadow.
