*The only thing I can't find is a good stylist that can trim and see damages properly but aside from that, I have been able to research and arm myself with good practices, best product for my hair (considering my density, texture, environment and style of choice), great tools and good techniques.*

TJ Maxx and Marshall’s is everything for hair care products. I ALWAYS check for products there first before I hit up my targets, sephoras, and ultas! I love discount shopping. I’ve found and fell in love with so many products I wouldn’t splurge on at the discount stores. And YES check the products!!
Great tips!! I had to come back and leave another comment!

You’re right finding a good stylist is like finding a good doctor. It’s easier said than done. The last 3 stylist I’ve been to have severely damaged my hair. Each time I’ve gotten my hair back from its detriment and decide to go to a stylist again (twice) I’m pushed back to the beginning again. At what point do you call it quits? I’ve learned a LOT about my hair throughout the years and have made the decision that nobody else is touching my hair.

And that’s understandable. If you’re happy with how your hair journey is going then do you boo! But a lot of people are fighting battles that they cannot win because they do not know what they’re doing. If it don’t apply let it fly and if you still want to find someone talking to people in your area is your best bet. Get a consultation before you get a full service and go from there.

Hey Bri...👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾. You are dropping the knowledge! I bought the latest and greatest hair products tying up all of my coins. Moisture training my hair was also a game changer on how products affect my curls.

Yes! A lot of the process is just time and patience. We get so impatient wanting immediate results but it’s never that easy 💕

Very good tips. Since I have winter, I buy for a season, ´what can I use this winter’ so no more stocking up and I get to buy again in April when brands release new stuff.

Oooo this is definitely a great way to go especially since a lot of us need to tweak things between seasonal changes! Tfw 💕
