My wife and I woke up at 3:30am last night and drove from our hotel (JHotel or something like that) in GB to the GB airport. There were only three of us there to welcome home the team from Seattle. Edgerin Cooper shook my hand. On the way back to the U.P. we listened to Andy's postgame show. Couldn't have been a better day. Edit: Edgerin walked over to me and shook my hand. Like, on purpose, the dude went out of his way to walk over to an old guy just to shake his hand. What a gesture.
Thank you for going back to the Eric Stokes play. 59:02 I was waiting for you guys to go back to that after teasing it and then getting distracted by College Football OT rules et al. Andy laughing his arse off was classic. Justis was also great at setting the scene and analyzing the stupidity. High School level crazy indeed.
@@dillondittemore1102there’s no way he signed that contract not knowing he was literally only in until Greenlaw got back. No way he thinks he’s better than Greenlaw.
@ well, apparently he did or he wouldn't have acted that way. My guess is they told him and he thought he had played well enough to no let that happen.
Thanks for the daily upload Andy. Defense has been showing out for not having Jaire. I was honestly happy when he was announced out last week and I’d almost like one more week. Don’t think we need 85% healthy Jaire for the Saints. And honestly if waiting till the playoffs is the best bet that’d be awesome
The only reason for resting players in the last game is if you have a home game secured in first round or a first round bye. Otherwise, you try to win every game to keep momentum heading into playoffs.
Have a lot of problems with the 4th and 15 from the kickoff spot. Should be way bigger consequences for the team going for it. Should be at least 4th and 20 from your own 10 yard line. If you convert, the ball is at the 30, basically like fair catching a kick off. If you don’t convert, other team is basically in the red zone. There needs to be serious consequences to going for it, that way teams only do it in absolute desperation, like an onside kick
When I saw the green mouthpieces in the Helene at first I thought it was an antenna as well 💀 use the damn thing! Oh, and the double mouth guard on the mask is even goofier
Honestly, i think the biggest reason why the NFL is hanging on to onside kicks is that it theoretically keeps the games interesting. If there's no way for a team to even make an attempt to retain the ball after scoring then a lot of games that still have a chance to be competitive would effectively be over at the two-minute warning. That said, I'm not sure fourth and 15 is the answer either, because as Andy says that's very dependent on the offense. (And I do think if they went that route, they'd *have* to restrict the use of it, otherwise teams with good offenses would just keep doing it and the opponent would never get a chance -- although I think restricting it to a certain number of uses per game is probably sufficient, you don't have to add in all this other stuff about "only in X circumstance".) Ideally I'd like to see it continue to be a special teams play, but one with at least slightly greater probability. Not really sure off the top of my head how that would work without going back to making it a risky scenario (the reason it's been modified so many times in the first place) but there's probably a way to do it -- something with spacing or how you're allowed to position guys on the field, most likely.
The Packers can show you what they can be, but they can show you their worst. It feels like a coin flip sometimes. Just hope the right defense show up in the playoffs.
If the NFL changes the onside kick to a 4th and x number of yards play, offensive coaches are going to create plays where their receivers all initiate contact, and we are going to have alot of conversions based on pass interference calls.
Justis would freak out but it isn't inconceivable that Stokes could return although if he did it would be in a role closer to Ballentine or Rochell. Fans don't like him because of his failure to live up to the expectations of being a 1st round pick and expected starter but instead reset the expectations for him to gunner on special teams and 5th on the depth chart. I don't' think that's the likely outcome and I'm not sure that most fans are even capable of resetting their expectations like that but Stokes would be a good 5th CB.
Mathew Tkachuk plays hockey for the Florida Panthers, and that guy just chews on his mouthguard the entire game. It’s a wonder he hasn’t lost his teeth…yet!
Man, I don't disagree with the general sentiment, but going on a ten minute diatribe about how bad Stokes is after what was, at least according to PFF, a GOOD game and by far his best of the season is a pretty bad look. For someone who spends a lot of time in videos saying "I want every player to succeed, this is just what I'm seeing on the field" to keep grinding that axe after an overall good game makes one question that position. Maybe shelf it for a week? Or at least mention the overall performance if you want to have a laugh about the mouthpiece thing.
Justis' hateboner for Stokes is reaching priapism territory. He needs to get that shit checked out or at least stop whipping it out everywhere. We get it, dude.
Plz don't advocate for ppl to have their mouth piece in at all times. Maybe there was a big play and a person ran 30 yards .that person wants to stay on the field but needs oxygen. They need the mouth piece in to breathe alit of the time
Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Justis is the best recurring guest by far!!! More team ups with Justis please!

OMG don’t wash that hand ever again! Kidding but man is Coop showing the becomings of a STAR🙏
That's an awesome story, we truly have the best fans
Thats awesome! What a great story
the moment Justis' camera went off, I spit out my drink laughing! hilarious!
The turning off of the camera was stellar, yes.
A classic.
What an amazing pod. Justis is always a great guest.
Love justice day
Great stuff. Love Justis day

Campbell was trying to stir up crap last year too on Twitter.
He got benched cause green law came back and threw a fit like a baby. Glad he's gone lol

Surely LaFleur warned Shanahan that he was a locker room problem. I think it mostly came on over this offseason.
i love their friendship lol go packers 💚💛

Awesome was a poor word choice but either way I’d rather fully healthy Jaire in the playoffs then a higher risk of re injury Jaire🤷♂️
I won’t be able to make it to the Admirals game, so I am gonna need video of the human puck, thanks.
Justis' "This is not a joke" cracked me up😂
Did Justis just say you HAD a family.😂😂😂 1:07:27
This was a fun one
33:30 yes we did go into half with a timeout
Justice Mosquito might be my favorite guest.
I think you jam jefferson with cooper . You have to physical with him . Even if we get PI its better then giving up easy catches to him .
Man, hope Justis is healing up well ✌️

Agreed 4 and 15 isn't unpredictable enough

Will Jaire come back fully healthy. I don’t understand PTL tears but it sure seems serious.

Seahawks offensive line is absolutely garbage. Let’s see how well they do against the Vikings.
Okay, favorite part of this show...your discussion on Stokes! Bahaaa! Love it 😂 GPG 💚💛🏈
The Packers can show you what they can be, but they can show you their worst. It feels like a coin flip sometimes. Just hope the right defense show up in the playoffs.
They need a better db than stokes. There are other concerns but stokes shouldn’t be out there
@ yea, the Stokes experiment is over.
Are my eyes deceiving me, an hour of Justis?

Should make penalties only advance the attempt position not the attempt yardage and definitely not grant 1st and 10
'you have a family andy' LOL
It should be 4 and 15 from the 5 yard line😂
Justis lmao "if stokes is back next year im going on hunger strike"
Jalen Ramsey started the trend of dangling mouthpieces in the NFL.
I'm with Justis on Stokes. I also hunt.
Maybe they can integrate in a FB position for AJ Dillion or something idk
This coming draft, cornerback should be the position for which Gutey drafts three.
Corner and maybe DE

Let's not get carried away. Seahwaks are the worst OL in the league.

I blame Patrick Mahomes for football players playing with their mouth piece.

being good or being lucky the packer db's suck i would not cut anyone of them a paycheck,GO PACK!
No offense, but Justice is hard to listen to.
Bored less stats
No they not,any time they face a top tier team they get destroyed
"Get destroyed" is inaccurate framing for 2, 3 & 5 point losses.
Do you know who gets destroyed by Top Tier teams? EVERYONE else.
