Hello Sr. I was having issues with my mirror camara and I just watched your video and whent ahead and disconnected the red wire and wala it's working perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thanks for another great video (I have already successfully installed a Epoch battery following your guidance). Now I'm looking to install a similar mirror/cam on my 2023 Navion. I was wondering how you routed the camera cable on the back of the rig. Did you run it up the corner molding and then under the rear top cap molding (where the marker lights are installed)? Did you have to remove the molding pieces? Any details that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I ran the cable through the moulding as you said. I did not need to remove anything and one thing I still plan to do is run a bead of clear silicone sealant along the edge - not to seal, but to keep the cable from working its way out.
So basically the rear camera is just plugged into the mirror at the front and powers from that. I have little knowledge on electrics for cars so if this is true it would be really helpful for when I install it. Also, you say you can use the mirror like a normal mirror. Does this mean it will still record etc without having any of the digital information on the mirror itself?
Yes, in the simplest installation, you plug the camera into the mirror and that's it. Optionally, you can also wire the camera to your reversing light to enable the special reversing mode (shows the guide lines). Also, yes, the recording function should be active, even when the mirror display is off (but I have not tested that).
My rig is 25ft, but I only had about 5-6 ft spare, although I did go all the way from bottom to top at the back. I’m sure you can get the 33ft cable to work, but the 50 will give you more routing options.
Hi there, we have a Jayco Class C and are considering a mirror dsh cam. How have you liked yours so far? How is the night time rear camera view? I'm worried about the depth view since it mounts so high up on the RV. Take care, Larry
Honestly have not had the chance to test at night (generally try to avoid night driving). I would have preferred to mount the camera lower but then my bikes would have blocked the view.
i have Wolfbox mirror camera on my car its been working well the other day the rear camera stop working I have got an other camera and it still not working so i also bought a new extension cable but it still do not work is there a reset button or fuse to the rear camera as the front camera is still working
The only extras are the terminals, possibly some battery cables and busbar (if the existing cables aren't long enough) and something the secure the battery in place.
Very helpful. Decided to go with this product. Thanks for posting. Cheers from Texas!!
Glad it helped!

How much do you think the 33 ft cable would have been short by? I have a 19' rv now, so I'm thinking about getting the 33' cable

I believe there is a fuse at the end of the cable (where it plugs into the camera). Otherwise it could be an issue with the socket on the mirror?
Am I able to turn off the camera and just used the regular mirror
Yes
Is the hardware kit necessary for installation
