  • You do not have to take off the spoiler to route it, but you can if you want to hide your wires better.
    Extension cable: www.amazon.com...
    Dashcam: Wolfbox G900

    Exact video of what I'm looking for. I installed my camera right where your first camera is installed and quickly noticed the lack of visibility on a dirty window. Thanks for the video.

      Glad it helped! Check out my video of it at night time in the rain, the position outside makes the camera pick up visibility so much better

    Did you use double sided tape to affix the cam to the underside of the spoiler? If yes has that held up over the past 7 months?

      Yup. Double sided 3M VHB. No issues in 100+ degree heat, pressure washing, still holding up.

    I wish you showed what the view looks like on the screen because I have second thoughts of putting the rear cam there because of potential blocking of the view due to the dust or dirt.

    How did you connect red wire to the rear lights? Is only benefit of that the backup lines or does it empower another feature?

    • @michaelorange5378
      @michaelorange5378 Месяц назад

      I believe red wire is too short to reach the connection point once you install this way, no?

      @@michaelorange5378You can always extend the red wire. It's just normal 0.75 sqmm wire.

      @@anupdev5845 did you do that? Still can’t find clarity on what’s different if I skip that part. Thanks for all the videos!

    No issues with the camera being angled upward mounting it that way (without the camera bracket) ?

    • @ayodangit
      @ayodangit  7 месяцев назад +1

      No issues. You can adjust the angle on the dashcam mirror itself to aim down.

    Did you wire into the factory harness or ran it directly to the deck?. If the harness...do you know.which wires you tapped into?.

      I ran it into an anytime camera switch. Anytime sells it kinda pricy. Car trim home sells it now or soon- or you can get a 4way anytime off Amazon for about 30 bucks.
