Dan Would one of your wide edge protectors laid over that back edge with a strap or two over it work better ? It would also hold the felt down and keep it from flapping much. Really enjoy your videos I have learned alot watching you. Thanks. Keep safe out there.

Sleepin in rest areas. I guess it's OK when you have your own turlet. 😄Nothin pays good out of Florida. I don't know how many times I deadheaded out of Florida. I could have hauled cheap freight but for 50 years as an OTR/OO I always.....always strived to be part of the solutiion and not part of the problem and if I was still trucking I would do the same today. Unfortunately I'm now in an old folks home and you Tubers are about my only entertainment. Well every now and again I hide the keys to some old farts Huv-around and causes KAOSS🤔HEY Mr. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into this VLOG. It's super entertaining to me and I love your truck. Old Ringsby United colors. The generator is very quite dan, can hear you with no problem when it is running.

Today's price on diesel at unmanned station is around 10.20 USD/gallon in Sweden, (26,70 KR/l.). The new price today is 28.00 KR/l, 10.70 USD/gallon.

I envy you that cheap diesel. In Europe we are now at USD 9,80 / gallon. But that was the price yesterday. Who knows today. But it is worth it to push back Putin.

If you had moved the angle irons so the rows with 3 were on the outside, would the 2 inch strap had squeezed them enough to prevent them sliding out? Good idea with the 2x4s though.

Average cost per litre £1.60 per litre with an exchange rate of $1.30 to the £ I think I make that equivalent of $7.36 per US gallon in U.K.

Can't tell you what year diesel fuel went from 30 to 40 cents a gallon and jumped to a $1.00, NY state went to $1.50, the company I was leased to added a fuel surcharge, until they got the freight rates high enough to keep us happy. pull toy here

Dan, Drop a 2x4 across the back of the trailer and set the pallet of angle that was moving backwards on top of it. This makes any movement of material go forwards into your tarp protectors and tarp. You minimize the movement by a strap across the floor holding the tarp down, or if it’s up against other product, use a scrap pallet on its side to prevent damage. We have similar problems carrying pallets of small lumber on b-trains here in Canada and just lifting the back of the top pallet by that 2" cures the problem of vibrating backwards.

Fuel prices are ridiculous and such a scam. The bankers and speculators should get a special tax and leave hard working people alone.
There is only a supply problem when there is no fuel left for crying out loud.
They don’t give you a fuel surcharge
As of January 1 the gas tax in Georgia went back up to its previous rate before the tax rate discount.
When angle iron slide out like that it’s called telescoping. It’s hard to always know where to start them loading but if I knew it was as long as it is I would have the guy first load the tail a foot forward off the tail. I always had a bulkhead in the front and a bulkhead on the back to keep things from sliding.

Somebody in the White house needs to get the diesel prices down period its insane.
I had a guy that opened his door just in front of my tag trailer. I was working for a paving company driving an F700 dump truck with a tag trailer hauling a skidsteer. He worked with me that day and when I was pulling away he swung open his door. I didn't rip it off, but it smashed it to where it didn't shut. I had forgotten about it, been over 27 years ago. Thanks, it's still as funny today as it was then. There's even less common sense these days as there was then. I don't let what other people do bother me.
And they say flatbed drivers can`t back up.....fine job sir

Fuel prices slowed me down from 70 to 63-65 , makes a difference
Love watching your videos. No matter where you are fuel is always a big headache. Here in the UK its always been more expensive. At the moment Diesel is now $8.80 a gallon & its still going up.
Todays price in Scotland at the pump = $9.90 per gallon

How quick its changing. I know prices vary across the UK at the moment. My home town last week was £1.42 a litre. Down in Cornwall at the moment & the local price where I'm staying is now £1.88 a litre today which converts to £8.46 a gallon. Admittedly its miles to the next fuel station but that's just a joke in USD that converts to $11.14

The side loading forklift is quite unique!
Someone has prolly already said this but if you take a 4" strap and just fold it back and forth on the top of the angles and let it get thicker towards the middle then strap it all down with a 2" strap it will pinch the looser middle stuff tight and keep it from shifting.

The XL pipeline was years from being finished and would not provide anything to usa oil. It was tar sands from Canada being shipped to usa gulf coast to be refined for sale to china!

UK already running around $7.0 per US gallon. It doesn't help much being more economic than your truck. (around 7mpUS gall)
In central Alberta us common folks are paying 9.21 a gallon for diesel and 7.56 per gallon for regular gas 🤬
I hear you about the fuel prices. I run for a small outfit out of Nebraska. Great to work for but every time I fuel I cringe for my boss. He’s feeling the pinch of these fuel prices. Wish we had tri packs on trucks so we wouldn’t have to idle when in the bunk.

Put a 2x4 under the back of pallet next time so the pallet is leaning forward then you don't have to worry about them sliding off the back.

Light loads = better fuel mileage. 18 speed needs to run Dan, don't go 80 but don't dawdle.
Regular gasoline here in Ottawa Canada just hit $8.00 Canadian a gallon or $2 a liter...its madness

my 2 accidents in Queens upset me too, tramatized me so much, that even if my company routed me thru NYC to NJ, i went around, just to avoid the place. up to that point id never had an accident in my life. i didn't kill anyone, was just car damage, but still.
