Dan Dan the professional flat deck man. That was some kind of blind side backing into an inside door. By using the same trailer all the time you know when your back end of your trailer disappears from your mirror. So I seen you keeping it as tight as possible. Thanks for posting Dan. Now you get to dead head back to Louisville and make some cash on the way..Have a safe and a great day. Happy trails to you..D.
Bailey and Dan love those 45 back up moves When i drove i found then fun to do ......Thank you Bailey and Dan for "TAKING US ALL ALONG .. (OH DID YOU KNOW SUBSCRIBERS ARE BEING DROPPED FROM YOUR CHANNEL ..?DOES YOU TUBE HAVING PROBLEMS 😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤)
Hi Dan, I'm a Canadian driver and I enjoy your channel. I have been in the industry for 46 years. I drove for 12 years then became a mechanic, managed 2 fleet repair shops in that time the second shop for 20 years then 2 years ago I went back driving a company truck, we are also in the flat deck industry. The damage on the hose you replaced was not from the split loom, front steering axle brake pot hoses are bad for that just because of the way they have to be run to the brake pot its just one of those things that can't be helped we change them usually ever couple of years and when we do we change them both. That's one of the things a DOT up hear will look at if he is doing an inspection. Love your channel.
You'd think that as long as trucks have been backing inside build, ngs the shipper/receiver would put day glow lines on the floor that continue outside. Maybe even real lighting? Even the Missouri caves have better lighting.
Carry 3/8” brake line and hose field repair kits . Very handy for brake chamber replacement , the field repair kits fitting ends will swivel . The plastic is referred to as poly loom , split wire loom , tubing , or conduit . Clean Looking Unit !
4:05 Split wire loom. I'm not certain I would agree that the loom contributed to the failure. More inclined to think positioning was at fault. It's a rare day I leave split loom on anything. In my experience it only hides sins, failures, and debris.
Nice job catching that hose wear in the yard before it could become a real safety or break down issue.Do you keep a note book with part numbers so you can call a dealer and check on availability on a needed part?
Looks like you were Wayland Union Michigan school district with that load of poles bout 18 miles south of Grand Rapids. Nice job backing those coils into that warehouse too. Pretty cobbled up pavement you had to work with but I'm sure you are long since used to that. Happy hauling...
@@Adam-x4b it did for me . That is pay the bills by carrying more weight. BRICK loads pay by the ton . I could do 25 tons . I think the trailer was 9200 lbs or about
I don’t know if you noticed when you were replacing the airlines, but with the camera angle it looks like the inside of your steer tires are starting to wear. And Dan that was impressive when you blindsided into that mill. Keep pounding the ground my friend.
Oh my gosh who are you?? Finally some content like you used to have a few years ago that brought me to your channel! Who ever you are (Super Trucker Dan) thank you for the video! Amen. Jim.🤔
So if you own your own tractor and trailer, what is the benefit of that with Mercer? I need to know all the outlaws on that other then being a owner operator on the load boards..
You Can’t Beat a Dorsey Trailer and its made right here in the U.S.A. 🇺🇸 Dorsey Trailers look Great and seem to have most of the Accessories you want to include. 👍🙏
He doesn't have one very few long haul truckers run them it's mostly local or short haul that have them nothing more aggravating then a truck backing into a parking spot at 3 am with one going off waking up everyone in the truck stop

Another good one Dan 🚛🇺🇲👍

Blindsiding a spread? I'm thinking that this might not be your first rodeo, Dan...😁😁😁
He watched a RUclips video😂😂
Hey Dan. They are building a new steel mill in Calvert Alabama. TK is building it. More could loads.
Great blind side backing Dan! That's the way to do it. Not much of a angle so at least you can use right mirror.
Wow those exhaust sound shots were so awesome. Safe travels Dan and Bailey.
Hope the wife is feeling better. Stay safe out there bud 🙏🙏
Nice backing job!
When are you getting your step deck.
I was wondering that, too. I thought he was supposed to have it by now, but I haven’t heard any updates. I’m looking forward to the new content.
I think the trailer he has now is better!!
My dad had a Dorsey trailer years ago, hauled alot of weight on it, was a steel trailer, never lost the arch on it, it was a great trailer
Waiting for the step deck. You will be able to haul a lot of wheeled equipment on it.
8:41 now that’s how you unload a trailer!!!!
6:59 looks like the plastic protective cover on that storage box is still on.🤔

I saw you headed back to Louisville Wednesday on HWY31 just north of Kokomo Wednesday as I was headed north to Grand Rapids from Nashville.
I thought you had the blind side back on first shot. Still great job with the super trucker sleeper.
Dan, excellent Blind Side back up. Looks like your getting some odd wear on the inside of the left side front tire.
Nice blind side back. Good job Dan.
Gosh, I hated backing into black holes!

Blind side back and I’m guessing within 6” of equidistant from each side of the door. True professional 😊

Hi Dan, thank you for your interesting videos. Just a quick question. Does the shipper ever tie down your load ,or do you always have to do it?

That driver hasn't even taken the protective plastic off the tool box doors guess that eliminates having to polish them lol
Stay safe brother from the imperial county California 🇺🇲👍
they left the protective film on the drivers side box on that Mercer trailer
What happened with the Dorsey stepdeck deal
Your steer tires look good
Keep it working 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Is there a plan that you drop and lock up your trailer? Then grab the Company Trailer? Or is it O/O to O/O?
Daniel, Thanks for this very interesting video. I'm keeping an eye out for you in the Dallas, TX area. All the best to you and your family.
