I’ve not tried this yet but I’m hoping it’s the problem I was having as I’m on university wifi trying to use octoprint to monitor my 3d printer. Thanks so much even if it doesn’t work. I’ll come back to this if it did. (Sadly it didn’t work atleast for now. Because I’m not using raspian and having to do it through ssh when I reboot I can’t even connect to my phones hotspot. So I can’t do ssh.)
@@SLACKLINEDUDE I was able to get it working. But only by contacting the wifi provider over the phone and asking them to enable a “1 to 1 connection”. If you explain to me what your situation is I may be able to help
Thanks so much, it worked for me, this would've been such a pain if I hadn't found your video

@@ogre1890 I am also incontact with my schools engineering it desk so they are helping me, I respect the follow up.
@@SLACKLINEDUDE If it’s like what I had it’ll be that they don’t allow devices to connect to each other so people can’t slow down the wifi. Good luck
It did not work for me. getting the wrung ESSID in the end. PLUS it disabled my wireless wifi in the RsPi
