This is how I keep up with my programming skills. I get idea's from those creative minds out there. Either pickup their project or dab a little into it to improve it for my needs. Sometimes get a total new idea for myself sometimes. I own three Raspberry Pi's, but I also own like 8 SD cards with different projects on them. Swap cards and your Raspberry Pi can do different task with ease.

If sorting basic objects is too much for you, spend the next 4 months creating a Pi-based sorting system, which when finished will save you literally seconds of time.
    Great idea.

I have been thinking about living on mars to much... #12-Solar tracker controller pc, #11 - Mars WWW/C.N.C/CDN system # 10 - Inventory sorter/regolith sorter, modded to be a pick and placer for production/harvesting needs #9 - Per specific server rack for unique loads.. (IE this is what we run the Base UPS or Primary DNS, SMB, SQLdb's, Etc), #8 Not really needed on mars. #7 Alt for #12 or for larger controller needs or rover controller/control station, #6 - built into the base, possible backup ones. #5 - combine with #10 for small harvesters/welders/cargo haulers (scaled up) #4 - Green house support/proper lighting for people. #3 - not needed #2 - meh maybe #1 - tho hacky, able to control #5... yep been playing to many mar's colonizers..

Foreword: Create a product like this, and the Video community will shower you with eternal admiration!
Backstory: My desire is to use my Sony VX-1000 Camcorder without relying on tapes. The most straightforward approach would be to connect a Sony HVR-MRC1 memory recorder to the camera's Firewire OUT port. Regrettably, these recorders have been out of production for over two decades. Although they can still be found, I am reluctant to spend $400 on outdated technology. This led me to explore alternative options, but it appears that no modern memory recorder with a Firewire port is available anymore.
Consequently, I thought about building my own solution, but I lack the knowledge in electronics, programming, and coding required to do so. The only viable option is to assemble a makeshift solution using existing hardware. During my search, I discovered SCB's (Single-Board Computers). While they don't come with a Firewire port, they can be customized by adding one. My plan would involve installing Windows 7 on the SCB and connecting a mouse, keyboard, and screen to it. Then, I would run an application like WinDV to record the incoming Firewire stream.
Clearly, this setup is far from ideal, as it necessitates carrying around a lot of additional equipment. It hardly compares to the convenience of simply purchasing an HVR-MRC1. However, I remain hopeful that someone reading this might come up with an ingenious solution. Perhaps, by writing a script or firmware, the SCB could be made to operate without the need for Windows 7 and the accompanying hardware. I am not well-versed in this area, but I'm curious if such an approach could be viable.
    Thanks.
P.s. Do you mind if I post this in other videos of yours so as many people as possible can see this? Maybe someone can help me out? : )

Nice video. Comes at the perfect time, you can go out and buy as many Pis as you like, so no problem. And building a cluster is also no problem. Just buy from some scammer and pay 140$+ for a Pi4 4GB.
What a joke. Pi company does not care about private users any more. Its no problem to buy a Pi4 as a professional customer, but good luck as a private one. Its a perfect business model. Use the community for years to create a very good ecosystem and then switch to professional sector. This way companies have less development costs, because they can use the available libraries for free...
What about making videos about Pi alternatives ? Pi is dead at the moment as private user...
